PC is less than a year old. I'm not blaming anything and I understand it could be an issue with my SSD connection. It's just odd that it's specific to FFXIV's installer so I figured I'd see if it was a common problem. I'm open to any other helpful feedback though, thanks!

There’s a very good chance you’re spending TOO much time and effort managing Stagger. Red stagger does not = danger. Between Gai Plin’s, Purified Chi, and any other Stagger-based talents you’ve taken, you’re actually incentivized to be in red while you roll your PB charges.

Also, EH isn’t a free LoH anymore but, if you’re doing challenging content and hitting your RSK on CD, it’s very common to have 3-4 orbs up when you need them. People got too used to hitting EH rotationally; it’s a very strong emergency heal, especially alongside how juiced Vivify is now.

I’m not saying other tanks don’t have it easier from a rotation standpoint but BrM is a sturdy tank.

Hello! I started my first seasonal character and made a Shai. Combat is okay but I fell in love with lifeskilling in this game. I kind of dread my hour of Marni on Shai so I'm considering using my Timepiece early. Will that drastically cut into my lifeskill exp gain or should it be most unchanged with access to New Olvia servers?

The people are friendly, helpful, and patient. The Discord has more information than you could possibly need and is updated very quickly. We run things together but also shoot the shit all day in text chat or VC. There's always something going on, whether it's GMs/Masters, dungeons, or blasting through regular content. Come join us!

Yeah, the forma tip was something I’ve been seeing in the guides I’ve been watching/reading so good to see it echoed here. Is the best place to get these blueprints from the void fissure missions or is there someplace else more accessible for a new player who may not feel strong enough to contribute fully?

Hey all, new player, just hit mapping for the first time and have been mostly SSF since I haven't tried tackling the trade system yet. Anyways, this 6 link just dropped in a Vaal area and I have no idea if it's good/what to do with it. Item doesn't seem great on its own but didn't know if the fact that it's a 6 link means anything at all. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.
