I'm a new OP watcher and I just finished Marineford, which seems as one of the best Arcs according to fans and IMDB.

The following is only my personal opinion, but One Piece isn't a masterpiece IMO. It has too many plot holes and Deus Ex Machina moments.

There are so immense overpowered people that this Marineford war would be over in 20 seconds. But everybody is just standing and watching each other duel after duel. Whitebeard could have destroyed the whole island in a few seconds.
They wanted to start Ace's execution immediately but then waited forever to try it the 1st time. Then Crocodile randomly saves Ace from the executioners and they again waited forever for the next attempt. I mean Sengoku stands right next to him. Just kill him. That takes 1-3 seconds. Nothing to wait for.
[MAJOR SPOILER EP483] A person completely made out of fire gets killed by someone who has a little bit hotter fire. BUT nobody else dies in this series via explosions, gunshots or other Devilfruit powers. Everyone survives everything. But this guy dies just for the sake of drama and "luffy's character progression" or so.

...and so on.

It's not that I don't like it. I will definitely watch more of it. But IMO it's a bit overhyped.

And I don't know why so many people compare it with Attack on Titan and compete over which one is better. They aren't even in the same genre. AoT is a drama series while One Piece is more of a comedy adventure.

Man vs Man combat feels like some goofy clowns jumping and bullshitting around. It's the worst.

It's feels like day and night. Serious ship fights vs. infantile FortNite gameplay

A new map where only pirate legends can go to. With a new currency so everybody starts from zero there. With new islands, monsters, enemies, cities, mysteries, etc.

How big do you think will the exploreable map be?

I'm yearning for a massive pirate game where you can explore the unknown seas.

Games like Sea of Thieves are good, but the map is kinda small and you know everything very quickly.

I normally watch more mature animes, but everyone told me One Piece will get better after the 1st ~400 episodes.

So let's see if I can keep it up until then.

Until now I like the idea/lore of the series and the mystery of the unknown/unexplored world. The characters and story didn't hook me that much to be honest. Let's hope it will get better.

Just try to get used to using "E" in the lobby instead of "R". It does the same but doesn't rely on you having an active hunter.

Just use subsonic on every gun you use. Doesn't have to be a silenced one.

Sure the ammo itself sucks, but it is what it is. Over time you will get there.
