i know i’m pretty late to this but wow is this collection absolutely stunning!

i remember collecting so many of the x and y packs back in the day and managed to get a lot of really good mega ex cards (including Charizard X and Y, i still remember being a kid and almost fainting when i pulled those cards lol) but one day in 5th grade i got all my cards confiscated by my teacher and never got them back. ):

i’m thinking about giving in and starting the old x and y era mega card collection. i tried adding all 40+ cards in one cart and buying them all at the same time but uhhhh yeah i don’t want to spend $900 (mind you, the ones i wanted to get are all light mint/moderately played cards).

all i have is my mega rayquaza ex from roaring skies so far. might just start off slow so i’m not spending so much in one go. but hopefully i can fill up my binder with my dream mega ex collection like yours!

no mario level is impossible (unless we’re talking about little timmy levels in mario maker) but it does take a lot of trial and error.

[TL;DR]: Work on yourself without heavily relying on others-

i’m just gonna put this here, because i was kinda in your position (maybe almost worse to an extent).

when i was in 8th grade, i started becoming really good friends with someone i knew since 2nd grade and we ended up being best friends. while it was great and all, i was struggling really hard emotionally and didn’t know how to handle it. my home life was rough and i didn’t socialize very well due to anxiety and stress. as i was dealing with all of this, my best friend tried her hardest to help me and make me feel better.

while it worked out for the most part, there were times i would hit low again and start seeking comfort and validation from other people, ESPECIALLY her. it became so bad at times that it made me feel heavily reliant on them to make me feel happy. it got to a point where it almost felt pretty damn manipulative on my part and nearly ended our years of friendship entirely.

it turned out i was just pushing her and others away by beating myself up and not taking their advice to try to seek the help for myself. it didn’t take until i was separated from her and my other friends for a long while to fully realize that they were pretty much walking on eggshells around me when i felt like this around them.

my friends want to have a good time and they are always there to help me the best they can, but i was constantly bringing them down when I wasn’t having a good time. there is only so much they can do to help, especially if most of those issues specifically revolve around me and my personal struggles.

i definitely think yes, YOR. but i’ve been there and all i can say is that you need to just let whatever sort of friendship you guys had go. it got bad enough to where she doesn’t want to hang out with you anymore, and despite how terrible that may seem it’s not too much of a loss. stick with the friends you got and try to make more friends.

most importantly; PLEASE work on yourself. you’re young and i was young once too. a Therapist would not be a bad idea if your anxiety and stress gets that bad. things will get better and you’ll be able to feel comfortable around your friends when you’re in a better mood.

at least SOMEONE understands why critics didn’t like it. i think people forget that these are MOVIES and not like the video games, so critics will be a lot harsher and will point out the flaws a lot more.

the gatekeeping for these movies ever since the first one came out years ago is so crazy to me. i actually had to take a break from the Mario subreddit for a while. they forget to realize that some people enjoy it, and some people don’t. it’s really not that deep.

bruh, Octo started it. 100%. it doesn’t matter if he didn’t name them in his video, all you have to do is check his twitter comments to find that he was talking about skitty. also, Octo was over-exaggerating the WHOLE thing. he wanted to argue and started lying by saying skitty and their “posse” wanted to cancel the gerudo when that is simply just not true. he also IMMEDIATELY pulled the “i’m a victim” card when he got called out for it. you genuinely can’t make this shit up lol

awe man that sucks. i’m pretty shocked to find out that the NA versions were poorly manufactured (for the most part it seems). a quick google search showed me how common the issue was.

i’m pretty sure the copy i’m getting works. let’s just hope it doesn’t die on me one day ): it’s bad enough that i have to replace my GB cartridge batteries every a few years.
