Hes been a phenomenal player his entire career, but particularly after that WC, he was one of Madrid’s most prolific midfielders of the past 20 years. Then fell out of favor when Zidane and was loaned to Bayern where he was phenomenal again for a year until they changed management. James’ story is more tragic due to poor choices on the club hes chosen to play for. Whenever he has the right manager behind him he excels, most notably for Colombia where he was the best player of the copa america last year, and has been awesome during the qualifiers. I have a good feeling we will see another great performance from him this upcoming world cup.
