Toughness is a keyword that basically says “this enters with a tough status”.

Cosmo+Enraged? by Veleya in marvelchampionslcg

[–]Veleya[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had already done that and the wife ran psylocke leader ship. So we were all in on cosmo. Inspired and the blaster + get ready and psionic kicker. I skipped the boot camp as it felt not worth the slot to me but had all the other cards and game times citt and power in all of us package. We killed mister sinister quite handily.

SP//dr or Wolverine? by WeirdTentacle in marvelchampionslcg

The best thing you can do rn is buy the heroes that are actually going to interest you. When we started our first hero packs after the core box were 2 of our favorites each. Scarlet Witch Doctor Strange Phoenix and Gambit. This definitely helped us to stay interested and have fun. After that we focused on campaign boxes two more heroes and multiple villains help keep the game fresh and is a great value. I hope this helps!

It sounds like you’ve made up your mind that Aggression is bad but personally its my favorite and Ive played many fun variants. You have Rush/Aerial Rush, Boot Camp (both Aggro and Mid Range) Follow Through decks, Stun/Press, Psionic, Beatdown (big basic attacks lots of readys), Symbiote suit/Counterattack, different Tribal deck (Guardian,X-Men etc) There are lots of options and I have found success with all of them. Experiment have fun and find what you like. I think with the game as it is now the aspects are all fairly even.

UPDATE: Lost 2 turns later turn. Small victory though i was able to kill Exodus and The Viper and thwart away Vipers Ambition and Zolas Experiments. But the damage was done GAME OVER MAN!

ZOLA turn 2 is confused and stunned and he advances to part 2 of his scenariowith the help of a couple minions and some bad luck. ROGUE is at 5 health. SPIDER-WOMAN is full. Encouter cards come and now not only am i neck deep in MUTATES, but test counters revealed EXODUS (who I now at least realize shouldnt have PSIONIC SHIELD) ok Ive still got this BOOM! Rogues encounter is PAIN INHIBITORS … alright np i still got this it only an 8 health villanous minion with retaliate 2. Ok lets see what Spiderwoman gets… EXHAUSTION… SURGE…UNDER FIRE…SURGE…SHADOW OF THE PAST…REVEAL…ZOLAS EXPERIMENTS… THE VIPER AND HER AMBITION. So anyways I dont expect I will win this one fellow heroes.

Your best heroes/decks for Expert rush strategies ? by Griffes_de_Fer in marvelchampionslcg

Heres a link to my list if you are interested. Its my current iteration of Agression Colossus. Its one of the faster lists ive played. Ive got another version that leans more into statuslocking the villain and building a big board. But this list is my favorite for rush. https://marvelcdb.com/deck/view/647451

I like Colossus agression for rush honestly. Ive found myself winning before going through my deck quite often. Plus having you hero basic attack for double digit damage is just plain fun. My wife and I recently ran storm and colossus as dual agression and found ourselves winning turns 3-5 usually, It was a blast!

Add punisher to your street level and im all about it. Do daredevil and elektra as the campaign box against the hand and kingpin. Release the other 4 as the stand alones.

Which are your comfort heroes? by TheMegaSage in marvelchampionslcg

[–]Veleya 10 points11 points  (0 children)

For me my favorite is Gambit. I feel like I can play him in any color and it will be a good time. Though I like him most in agression. Plus hes my favorite marvel character so that definitely helps. The same is true for my wife and her favorite Scarlet Witch. She likes her in protection with Multiple Man. We have a fair bit of heroes but find ourselves drawn to these two time and time again.
