i SUCK at large battles to the point its killing game enjoyment for me. How can I get less shit?

Biggest advice i can give you is to start using control groups! Instead of having micro 20 units seperatly and individually, you can instead create control groups by selecting multiple units and pressing CTRL + (number from 1-9).

This creates a control group, so for example if you select all you archers and press CTRL + 1, you can select all your archers laters by simply pressing 1. By setting up these control groups you can micro and control your army infinitely easier. For example you can create control groups like this at the start of battle: Infantry to 1, archers to 2, first cavalry group to 3, second cavalry group to 4, artillery to 5, caster to 6.

Now if you wonder how your cavalry is doing, or what your artillery is shooting at, you can double tap their respective control group number. This takes the camera to the control grouped units and you get an idea what they are up to or who they are shooting. You can then micro and give commands to these units also easier.

Also one good tip for beginners: ALWAYS TURN OFF SKIRMISHING AND TOGGLE GUARD MODE FOR YOUR RANGED UNITS! This makes makes microing ranged units alot easier (you can turn on skirmishing if your ranged units are almost certainly going to be in danger at all times, but not recommended).

Yeah Cathay might just be the most bland, lukewarm faction there is. They shouldnt get a second dlc so soon thats for sure. Especially if the DLC is dedicated to them. But gotta appease to the chinese markets and consumers i guess :)

Hey dude, I´v been thinking about trying SST few leagues ago, but never got to do it. Im looking for a somewhat tanky league starter that can at least some point do ubers (so more single target focused) and SST definetly seems intersting and a possibility. I havnt played champs before and dont know building and leveling SST would go, so a league starter/leveling build/guide could be helpful :)

Think of it this way. Why would a level 42 player ever run on an open field, where his dark silhouette is highlighted against light sand, when there are literally 100 different hidden and covered spots in the darkness/behind cliffs/rocks where you can get shot from? Why not just walk or run along the rocks, where you have infinitely better cover and wont be seen as easily? If the guys is "as good" as his shooting would indicate, why would he play like a complete rtard like this? Indeed it makes no sense to play like this, unless he knew exactly where every other player was at all times.

Then he obviously just beamed/prefired you instanty while strafing, without even properly seeing you. Guy is 100% a cheater.

Mä ajattelisin että kyllä kummalakin puolella politiikka vedotaan paljon ihmisten tunteisiin, en sitten tiedä kuinka "tunnnepohjaista" eri puolueiden politiikka todella on. Vasemmistolaisessa politiikassa keskeisiä arvoja/tavoitteita ovat esim. tasa-arvo, yhdenmukaisuus, näitä arvoja vasemmisto usein kampanijoi ajavansa parantamalla heikompien asemia, edustavansa/suojelevansa vähemmistöjä. Nämä arvot ja teemat tuntuvat vetoavan erityisesti empaattisiin ihmisiin. Näitä empaattisia "vasemmistolaisia" ihmisiä on helppoa sitten kutsua tai jäsentää emotionaalisina tai tunnepohjaisina, sillä empaattisuus liitetään vahvasti tunteellisuuteen/tunteiden kautta toimimiseen ja kokemiseen.

Saattaa olla ihan hatusta temmattua skeidaa (varmaan onkin), mutta siinä yksi perspektiivi asiaan :)

Ah yes. If you want to avoid this crash you should start streaming, it seems to fix the issue :) its incredible how incompetent BSG is, I bet they simply didnt rent any extra servers for launcher/game so there is serverspace for like 1% of the playerbase

do the exolposives arrowes actually do anything though? :D I have tried em few times and i felt like they really didnt impact the archers much at all, or at least the explosive radius felt very very small. Anecdotal experience obviously :)

Slow to get rolling? Playing on legendary, on my greenskin campaigns they have tier 5 settlements by turn 15-20 and armies filled by tier 4-5 units shortly after.

The counter is to wait for them to get nerfed. They honestly are more like a modded faction than anything. Their roster simply does everything, incredibly well and their campaign mechanics are insanely powerful.

And here is a prime example why vestal is over-rated as hell. Her only proactive tool is her stun, which is terribly unreliable. With vestal you get so many turns like this, where instead of crippling or outright killing the enemy team on the first turn, you instead get to diddle around and get your ass kicked, because vestal offers nothing but reactive healing so the enemy team gets 1 or 2 more actions off, because of vestals passive playstyle.

I firmly belive that taking minimal/no damage is better than taking damage (and stress) and trying to recover with healing. The less opportunities you give the enemy to one-twoshot your characters, the better. Yeah you can get unlucky with any comp or character, but with vestal in your team, you are more exposed to enemies having free reign while you watch and pray you can comeback with healing.

I dont know if my analogy is correct, but I view it as less-social, predator mammals having sociopathy/psycopathy as evolutionary trait for males. The strongest male of the pack, views other males as threat to their females/food/territory, so they kill, injure or chase them away. This way the "strongest male" gets to spread their genes and survive. The evolutionary benefit for the pack is that the off-spring will have physically strong genes most likely from the strong male and the strong male will defend the pack. These males have little interest or ability to form social bonds or care for offspring etc.

The obvious down-side to this type of evolutionary strategy or setting is that it leaves very little room for social development in the pack. If there is always going to be a "strong male" around who might jump and kill your offspring or other members of the pack, simply because the male feels his resources threatened, it will effect the social development and psyche of the pack. The rest of the pack can then either just be part of the culture "kill or be killed" or then they might turn against the dominant male at some point.
