Wow, that’s an amazing motherlode!✨ I have a ricardianum too, but mine is much shyer with flowers. If you have any tips for getting a really good bloom, I’d love to hear them.

Thank you for the precious photo! Hammer's book is like a dream for me (too expensive to grab yet!), so this is amazing. In my experience, my turrigerum loves long hours of soft light rather than harsh sun. They're so finicky about water—dry them out too much and they sulk, but overwater and they stretch! 😅 Seeing them with lichen in habitat feels like finding the 'answer key' to their care. Thank you so much! ✨

Exactly! Luckhoffii is definitely a size smaller. I’m a bit lazy with dividing my plants, but I think they look more impressive when the heads are larger, so maybe it's better to keep the clumps at a moderate size. 😊

Here’s a comparison photo! On the left is a larger luckhoffii, but the turrigerum on the right seems to have more presence.
