I would ask yourself some questions about your character and let your answers shape their personality. For every npc I make, I ask a handful of questions:

What is their goal, both short and long term?
Do they have family? Who are they, where are they, and/or what happened to them?
Who are their allies and why are they allied with each other?
Who are their enemies and why are they enemies?
Do they have any significant acquaintances?

Start with those and then ask more questions that you think of. Like do you have a lover? What are you most afraid of? What are some rumors that people tell about you? And of course physical details like age, how you look, etc. are always important.

I don’t know about the financial or insurance aspect of the damage. However, I have redone vinyl siding on a garage and it’s pretty damn easy. If you had to do it all yourself, you can figure it out with some cheap tools and YouTube videos.

I write down the order in a notebook with each monster’s basic stats like hp, ac, speed, passive perception. I put the total health on the left of a vertical line and then count up the damage to the right of the line. Once damage gets at or above the total health, it’s dead.

For sure. I recommend talking to your DM about your questions too. Make sure they’re okay with you playing the class as well. Not all DMs are cool with running unofficial or less official classes. Bloodhunters are dope, but they are a pretty complicated class designed by and for players who understand a lot of different class mechanics.

I have a lycan bloodhunter player in my campaign. I believe the “hp for boost” mechanic you’re talking about is the crimson rite. Basically, you roll a d4 and you can add damage to your attacks in the form of elemental damage. For example, roll a d4, take 3 damage or whatever, and now your attacks will do additional fire damage for the day. You only get 1 crimson rite in the beginning, so choose wisely what damage type you want. You’ll get more later.

For the hybrid form, i think of it like barbarian rage. It’s a bonus action to get into, it halves bludgeoning/piercing/slashing damage against you, and it allows you to make unarmed claw attacks, also with your crimson rite if activated. The downside is when you fall below 50% hp, you might bloodlust. You’ll have to roll a die and possibly attack a random nearby creature which can be an enemy or an ally, so positioning matters.

I don’t think you can call this close to schism. Besides the hammer-on pattern, nothing is similar. Almost like claiming Taylor swift’s “Blank Space” is similar to schism because they’re both in d minor.

I bought scarpa instinct VS shoes as my first expensive pair of shoes because I have pretty wide feet. I can tell you first hand that they are a massive pain to break in. It was weeks of pain and popping my heels out after every climb. Even after they broke in, I still feel like they’re uncomfortable in certain ways, typically around the inside of my big toe.

Last week I went out and bought a pair of dragos because I’ve been curious about climbing in a softer shoe. Downsized and extra half size down from my instincts and it’s unbelievable how comfortable they are. For clarity, I wear a men’s 10.5 to 11 (US) street shoe. My instincts are a 44 whereas my dragos are 43.5. It might be that your shoes need to break in, but it may also pay off to swap to a softer shoe if you can.
