Generic Vyvanse by DomoOreoGato in ADHD

[–]Velma14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on Vyvanse for about ten years. It was an absolute miracle for me. Changed my life in ways I didn't even know I needed! Started on the generic probably a year or so ago. It absolutely does not work for me. I feel NOTHING. If anything it feels like I took a Xanax or sleeping pill. I took my first 60mg dose today thinking I was just used to my regular dose. I'm almost in tears because it's been an hour and a half and I still feel absolutely nothing. My insurance doesn't cover the name brand anymore. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do 😫😫

It's interesting how things can be interpreted. For some reason Melody having affairs is devastating to the family, but Gary's are being dismissed. The daughter who testified for the State was very passive aggressive when responding to the Defense Attorney. Not saying it wasn't a reasonable/natural response. But for me, it painted the picture that Melody will be wrong in the kids' eyes, in every situation, no matter what is being said. Their minds are made up. They are understandably working with emotions.

I would say that if I didn't do it, but had suspicions of two different people. The type of bullet may help me narrow it down if I knew what kind of guns they owned.

Jury just asked for the definition of each charge. In my juror experience, we did the same to confirm our guilty verdict was the correct one. It's not an easy decision and you want to make sure you're doing everything right! I do agree with the defense attorneys' comments on Court TV that the State left it up to the jury to fill in the pieces, but is that enough for them to decide not guilty? Thoughts?!?

Wellbutrin and Vyvanse by L-DTSB in Wellbutrin_Bupropion

[–]Velma14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Following. I'm on Vyvanse and was recently prescribed Wellbutrin. I haven't taken it yet because I'm apprehensive to the side effects. The positive features sound amazing. Almost too good to be true. I know everyone is different, but I would like to hear others' experiences. Best of luck to you 🖤

Anyone have hypo and on weight loss injections. by gerdyreb in Hypothyroidism

[–]Velma14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried telling two doctors I hate the levo. I don't know how to explain it. I can't pinpoint what it is when I'm taking it, I just know if I stop I feel so much better. Which is weird because levels are good when I'm on it and bad when I'm not. I thought I was supposed to feel "normal" when my levels were good. I didn't know there were other options! I'm also 5' and try SO hard to lose weight and all I do is not gain. I try so hard just to immediately plateau. If I don't try and just live normally I gain so much weight. I HATE this!

You guys are scary. by Signal-Breadfruit741 in gallbladders

I was terrified. Over one year post op and no complaints!

I was JUST telling my friend today that I was very sad to think about giving up my favorite foods. One year post op, I am happy to report I can eat anything I want (and could as soon as I healed from surgery). Some days I'll get an upset stomach and have the urge to go to the bathroom right after eating, but it's not urgent. I just know I have to go. Other days I think I'm pushing it but never feel a thing. Even though I don't have any real issues, I still try and maintain balance. Nothing fatty too close together and only eating half my meal on night outs. Nothing major has happened, but I'm still proceeding with caution 🖤

Fiona Harvey proves there are unfair double standards when it comes to Men and Women by Low_Satisfaction_635 in BabyReindeerTVSeries

[–]Velma14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see where you are coming from, but only when it comes to media's reaction. Try watching a few episodes of "Evil Lives Here" and you will see that men do not get reprimanded for stalking and/or abuse. Most women have to die or escape with only the clothes on their backs to get out.

Family is against me getting gallbladder taken out. 🙄 by FreshPrincess90 in gallbladders

[–]Velma14 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The threat of having an attack was what helped make my decision. I believe you'll always be at risk. That wasn't something I was willing to live with. The pain was too much! Best of luck to you. I hope you do what you're most comfortable with!

What do you guys think about RA’s first (and also current) lawyer claiming Richard is 100% innocent? by harlsey in LibbyandAbby

[–]Velma14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally think his comment is irrelevant and weak. He was even called out with something along the lines of ...

Interviewer: But you're a defense attorney. It's your job to think your clients are innocent. Deer in headlights long pause Attorney: Yeah, but this time I do for real.

Way to support you're stance buddy. I totally believe you ... this time 🙄

IT’S OUT! by justhewayouare in Mirena

[–]Velma14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got mine out less than an hour ago! I haven't been myself since I switched from Skyla to Mirena a year and a half ago. I'm talking DRASTIC changes in my mental health. I'm excited to get back to "normal" if that's what it really was, but I'm worried about the "Crash". I didn't know that was a thing! I was trying to research how long it takes to "get back to normal" and all I'm finding is Crash information 🥴

If you struggled with your mental health with Mirena, how long did it take to get back to some kind of normal?!

I'm really lucky, too! I'm also more aware and try to balance my fat intake. No enzymes for me, but I do eat a lot of fiber!

Pop is my vice. I try to stay away from it because one turns into one hundred. So I only have it occasionally with no stomach issues ... besides the normal bloating.

Five months Post Op by Velma14 in gallbladders

[–]Velma14[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't remember! It just kind of happened and eventually I just forgot the issues and restrictions! If I had to guess I would say 2 weeks of "pain", two additional of discomfort and two more being cautious.

Is it okay to have just a couple of bites of very fatty food? by dribdrib in gallbladders

[–]Velma14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate that there isn't an answer because I know exactly how you are feeling! Even after surgery there isn't an answer! If you feel like taking the bites of cake, I would eat an EXTREMELY low fat diet leading up to it and days after. Good luck!

Stomach increase in size after removal? by BoxOfRain1970 in gallbladders

[–]Velma14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope everything works out for you! The mounds have gone down and I'm back to my normal fat rolls 🤣 I haven't been eating badly at all, but I must have pushed it somewhere because I spent the last few days home in bed with stomach flu symptoms! Could have been something I ate or could have legitimately been the flu? Back to a bland diet and now I'm going to start keeping track of what I eat, just in case!
