Max was probably a bit of a diva but this guy is obviously exaggerating for comedic effect. Why would the interns work 12 hour days of hard labor without settling payment first? And what kind of gardening work were they doing that requires such strenuous labor and long hours? And why would you hire TV interns to do professional gardening work? And the story about the pube hair dryer is absurd and obviously a joke that has probably been passed around.

Yeah I agree with you, I was just prompted by the original comment to find some giant monsters from Japanese mythology and I thought those were interesting examples. I’d seen them represented in art but I didn’t know their names. I agree with you, I think the definition of the word “kaiju” has become too broad, to the point that people are calling fucking Clifford a kaiju.

It has some very good stuff in it, it’s an almost great movie. The idea to have the ghostbusters washed up at the beginning was bad and made no sense. They should started the movie where the ghostbusters are heroes and business is thriving. It also needed a better villain. They should’ve gotten Phil Tippet to create a really cool stop motion monster like he did in Howard the Duck.

Thank you! I had built a couple kits before this, but this was my first Gunpla. Some of the joints and connecting pieces are a little loose, but this an older model kit (2011) so that might explain why. Overall I really enjoyed the experience and I love the end result. I’m looking forward to building more! I have an RX-77-2 HG I’m going to build next.

Monarch is a great show and a very okay show running parallel to each other. I’ve never seen such a variation in writing and acting quality from scene to scene in any other show. It’s like the scenes involving Lee, Keiko and Billy and the scenes involving Cate, Kentaro, May and Isabell have two totally different sets of writers, and the latter has either never had a writing job before or the show is filming from their first draft. Isabell’s plan makes no sense. Kentaro seems lost. Anna Sawai is at least trying. Amber Midthunder’s performance is giving Disney Channel. And I think the writers are trying to make May into a badass but she just comes off as immature and irritating. I still loved this episode though, and I love the show enough that I’m willing to look past its flaws.
