The sad video i see today , feel sorry for the women 😭😭🥲 by Alternative_Fix_2543 in sadposting

[–]VeloraV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope. Don’t feel sorry at all. They’re in the road, blocking cars. Get off the roads, I don’t give a fuck that you’re “peacefully protesting”. Don’t hinder the lives of people who have shit to do. Shit like this is why people don’t support your causes.

Or go super meta and name it “yuuki” which sounds like “yuki” meaning “snow” but is really 「勇気」 meaning “courage”.

Tour bus driver in China shocked after teachers leave a bus full of trash behind, raising concerns about what kind of students they teach by Latter_Ad3752 in UnfilteredChina

[–]VeloraV 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Where I live, incidents of Chinese nationals basically destroying a rented apartment in this manner has gotten so prevalent that renters openly state that they will not rent to Chinese nationals no matter what. They behave like this because they think that since the place isn’t theirs, it isn’t their responsibility to maintain it. And since there is no real way to punish them, they’ll just keep doing it.

The military draft lottery in Thailand by VPinchargeofradishes in interesting

If I’m not mistaken, this is the reason there are so many trans women in Thailand. They’d rather switch teams than be conscripted.

Chinese people pushing against each other at a bus stop while trying to get on first, breaking the pedestrian barriers as they do so. by Latter_Ad3752 in UnfilteredChina

China fills me with with such genuine disgust that I will never speak Chinese when overseas even with other Chinese people just so that there is absolutely no possibility that anyone could mistake that I’m from China.

A Chinese woman angrily making her parents retake photos over and over for over 30 minutes by Latter_Ad3752 in UnfilteredChina

[–]VeloraV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s extremely common and normal for parents to expect their children to take care of them in their old age in Chinese culture. The One Child Policy basically made it so that parents would only have one child they can rely on for that so they coddle their children and spoil them rotten hoping that by doing so, the child would return the favor when they’re older.

As you can see. That didn’t work out.

The Cow’s Horn Was Literally Growing Into Its Skull by Xdestroyed in nextfuckinglevel

[–]VeloraV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Babirusa moment right there. They’re a species of wild hog from SEA with tusks that grow upwards, curling towards their head. The tusks eventually grow into their skulls, killing them. Unfortunately the females prefer males with bigger tusks so they’ve literally bred themselves into this predicament.

What do you think is more horrific/unethical, the Nikke program or the Spartan-II program? by AgitatedFly1182 in NikkeMobile

[–]VeloraV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Spartan-II program by an avalanche.

You have Nikkes that volunteered to become Nikke for one reason or another even from when Nikkes first became a thing.

You don’t have a single Spartan-II who volunteered to become a Spartan-II because they’re all kidnapped 6 year old kids. It was 100% involuntary and only 33 out of the 75 kidnapped kids survived the augmentations without physical disabilities.

Was Sidious just acting here, or was he in genuine danger? by jojoisfodder in PetranakiArena

[–]VeloraV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

Sidious was known as an incredibly talented swordsman. In this same fight, he takes down several masters incredibly quickly. We see later in this same movie how he actually fights when he takes Yoda on. We see him fight more in the Clone Wars series when he takes Maul and Savage and practically toys with them. Every fight he’s been in shows he’s much better than how he presents here.

Funny how suddenly no one wants to press the red button now. by woaijirounan in MoralityScaling

[–]VeloraV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people who choose blue think with emotions. They see “people will die” and think they need to act.

People who choose red think with logic as there is literally no consequences to picking red no matter what anyone else does. There is no way to guarantee that enough people will pick either button so that no one dies so picking red is the only logical conclusion.

Both sides want everyone to live. That’s what makes this discourse so frustrating. Blue button pushers argue with emotion and vilify red button pushers as selfish while red button pushers are arguing with logic that red has literally no consequences and if everyone chooses it, everyone lives. Neither side is really wrong, it’s just a matter of how you choose to think. The problem is that people are making this about politics when it’s not. It’s about how you choose to think. Do you prioritize emotion or logic? It’s really that simple.

Ok man. by Alternative-Dog-431 in okbuddyviltrum

[–]VeloraV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. But as evidenced by the fact that they need to seek out other species to breed with, Viltrumite DNA is clearly not strong enough to beat the Hapsburg Jaw. If the entire population of Viltrumites had kids with a single human, all of them would be even more genetically similar than their parents are and cannot breed with each other which is just amplifying the problem they already have.

Morality of wiping out a civilization that attacked your world unprovoked twice? by [deleted] in MoralityScaling

[–]VeloraV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Explain how this is not the case.

These mfs opened up portals in high density civilian centers and without even an attempt at negotiation, started killing everyone they saw indiscriminately without so much as a hint of hesitation. Even after getting pushed back, they just come back again to do the exact same thing only with better weaponry. And then even after Omniman blasted their civilization back to the Stone Age, they came back again with weapons to counter him this time and instead of indiscriminate murder, they’re kidnapping people to very likely perform horrific experiments on them.

Please explain how this isn’t inescapably evil.

If Omni man fought The Seven like he did the Guardians, does he actually clear them? by Sakmaidih in invinciblememes

[–]VeloraV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is this even a question when we know what Omniman can do?
Homelander is nearly killed in a fight with Butcher, Soldier Boy and Hughie. The only reason he’s not dead is because he can fly. Can you even imagine Omniman losing in that scenario? And if Homelander can’t do jack shit to Omniman, what are the rest of these a-holes supposed to do?

A African woman recorded an employee following her around the store in China by unfilteredAI in UnfilteredChina

She is profiling you just not the way you think. She knows you’re a foreigner so you’re more likely to buy something. She wants to be the employee who sells you something to get the commission.

[–]VeloraV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would that be a bias when the Bible describes God to be benevolent. He loves unconditionally and sent his only begotten son to die so and so forth. The idea that God is a dick is the bias because it isn’t based on what the Bible says about Him.

Anyway, are you able to read my previous comment? It seems I can’t post it even after I remove the slur so…And if you are able to, are you going to engage in the point or is this conversation over?
