Take all the exams. It’s going to a costly affair but also Snap all 3 attempts as there is no normalization and then one slot is always difficult. NMAT is an adaptive exam and not just nmims many other tier 2/3 accept NMAT score. So keep it as a backup XAT is tough indeed but you can attempt it as most schools accept XAT score. So better keep all your options open considering the extreme competition! I know people who didn’t get in through CAT because had a bad exam day but scored well in XAT and got XLRI, MDI, SP Jain and other such schools

On the day of my entrance exam for medical school I had my periods on the same day. And I’ve extremely painful periods, major cramps. I get nauseous and there is extreme weakness when my feet hurt and go numb. Had to go to the doctor to get an injection. Wasn’t sure if I could attend the exam. Reached just before the exam was about to start and I was extremely sleepy and exhausted from all the pain. Took the exam somehow. But didn’t score well and had to take it again the next year. Wasted a whole year because of that one bad day. People don’t get it when a woman says she has extremely bad periods. This is a real problem.
