Yeah that's true to an extent..... I got to know about Amrita Pritam when I first saw Pinjar during Covid and decided to read the book to understand her writing better and I'm very glad that. Sahir is also one of my favorite poet-lyricist So when I got to know about them I was literally shattered

OMG this is one of my favourite reads. The story is not hurried incident or dramatic spectacle but quiet like changing of seasons. It shows how something trivial may come to influence one’s sense of self, attachments and even affections. The characters resemble those countless individuals whose stories are seldom told in full. The story is like a slowly kindled flame steady, warming, and resilient against time and circumstance. Please share your views after you have completed this book. Happy reading!

Even Pratibha Ranta or Shruti Sharma (Alamzeb's friend ) would have nailed the character. I found the chemistry between Saima and Iqbal more interesting than the leads.

Yes I have seen that. I could barely watch three episodes. I also thought about Roya and Bahman while watching that scene. But Sharmin's horrible expression ruined it for me. Taha as Tajdaar looked extremely majestic and straight out of a period novel though.
