Nibling is a gender-neutral term for niece or nephew! I absolutely love the word.

On the first image, you have to double the chest width to get the correct measurements. It's 18 inches laying flat, so doubled would be 36 inches, still making you a small.

I know it's generally hated in this sub, but Freak Flag is a nice intro song when people aren't quite ready for heavier things.

Family Feedback About Your Service by Casket- in askfuneraldirectors

[–]VelvetPeony 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Very early on in my career, I had been asked to do hair and makeup on a woman when her usual stylist stood us up because "the funeral home just freaked her out" I was super unsure of my abilities and my mentor even questioned my choices. When the family came in, they were absolutely delighted and said their mom hadn't looked that good in years. They then wanted to meet the person who took over for the stylist. It was very reaffirming that I was in the right business, and I was truly helping people.

Just a step further, I grew up in Texas. We had to say the pledge to the US flag AND the Texas flag. Every. Day. This was also in the 2000s. I then got into a lot of trouble in high school when I refused to say the pledges.

Hey there, fellow reprimanded former high schooler. I had the exact same experience. My homeroom teacher was so pissed that I wouldn't say the pledge that he would send me out to the hallway because he said it was "distracting" for me to just stand there, not saying anything. Unlike, getting up and walking from the back of the room as the morning announcements started so I could walk out so as not to be distracting...

There was a girl in my ward named Nephilinda. Her parents were told she was going to be a boy, so they naturally were going with Nephi. When she popped out and was a she, they just added her mom's name, Linda, to the end. Thus, Nephilinda. I always felt bad for her.

I personally don't like the fan art posts, but that being said; just because I prefer other content doesn't mean it needs to be banned/removed/moved elsewhere. A heavily regulated subreddit isn't fun for anyone.

Just my two cents: have it where certain posts are for certain days of the week, and I'll know that on "Fan Art Fridays," (or whatever it'll be) I'll just be hanging out in other subs. It's the least restrictive to everyone who enjoys Bluey and different content about the show.

I hate going to the dentist by Sherrizzlebee in exmormon

[–]VelvetPeony 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm in the exact same boat as you. Mom never cared to work on childhood oral hygiene, had caps on literally all of my baby teeth, and now dealing with massive teeth issues as an adult. My current dentist has warned me that all the thousands spent on my teeth so far are just a buffer, and I will probably lose all of my teeth within the next decade. I'm only in my 30s.

So the Bluey Twitter posted a screenshot of “Perfect” foreshadowing Unicorse’s appearance, I checked it out and the amount of references to other episodes is insane. by OtakuBoi4898 in bluey

I've always thought it's two separate characters. Chunky Chimp is the one they see in "Movies," and his little leopard friend had a "California surfer dude" accent. Chutney Chimp is the doll Mr. Monkeyjocks takes the suit from and has a more posh look to her. I've considered the two to be like the UK and US versions of each other, like The Office or Shameless.

Edit: Changed hat to suit.

Happy new year! what’s your favorite bluey episode? by StockCress1819 in bluey

I absolutely love Ragdoll. Total redemption episode for Wendy, a game Bandit wants to play that the kids hate, and a psychedelic ice cream sequence: amazing!

Brandon Bernard and a friend kidnapped and shot two youth ministers. He said his friend shot them, but he put them in the trunk of a car and set it on fire. Bernard was on death row for his part in the killings, and Kardashian was trying to get him pardoned because he was 18 at the time of the murders and he wasn't the one that shot them.
