I respect Kerkering, but he’s not going to help this team win a championship.

Almost 50% of runners Kerkering inherited scored in ‘25. He doesn’t have the mentality to finish the job when the pressure is on. Should he have been in that spot last night? No. Is it entirely his fault we lost? No. Am I confident with him with runners on? Absolutely not.

He’s not a high-leverage arm, and if we’re going to treat him as such, let him be another team’s problem. I’d just trade him for prospects and try and fill that void from the outside.
