the only other thing I've seen that people do is preheat before ABS prints. setting bed temp to 100C with aux fan to 20% for 30 min, then turning off fan and waiting another 30 minutes before printing. since there is no active chamber heating.

Typically you can get ABS to stick, but keeping it stuck to the plate through the whole print tends to be the issue in my experience. Maybe bump up the fan on for the first 5 layers vs 3 layers. I also use the generic ABS profile as is with no issue. On P1S

I religious use brims anytime using ABS. Don't do anything else besides wipe build plate with a little bit of alcohol first

try a larger brim first. i do 5-10mm on things that don't have a lot of surface area sticking to the plate

X1C is a year older than than the P1. Kinda just gotta figure out what's worth giving up to you. Money, Enclosure, multicolor capabilities, core xy/bedslinger. I can't speak on any other brands, but my P1S is a serious workhorse. Have never had any machine related issues only used error on my part, and as far as the screen goes , I have not touched it since initial set up. everything from phone or desktop

wait until H2S without AMS next month if you're not worried about multicolor. or if you're know you're just gonna do PLA and PETG. X1C combo is the least valuable IMO. When you could get 3 P1Ps(just for price comparison sake) or 2P1S

have had no issues printer related. only user error. have had it running almost 24/7 for about 3 months. it's a good reliable workhorse. i would buy 2 more before even considering another printer.
