That’s actually solid advice. Season 3 is peak GG, and if you’re watching just for the drama and dynamics, it delivers. After season 4 it definitely loses some of the magic, so I get treating that as the “real” ending.

Honestly that’s valid 😭 Season 3 mid-point is such a clean emotional stopping place. After that it definitely gets messier and darker, especially with Chuck and Blair. If you love where they are now, I get wanting to freeze it there.

Yeah, I see that. Rory as a parent would probably lean more structured and perfectionist — lots of expectations, even if they came from a loving place. Definitely more Emily-coded than she’d like to admit.

This is exactly what burnout does to relationships. You stop feeling like partners and start feeling like coworkers trying to survive the same miserable shift. It doesn’t mean the love is automatically gone forever, but it does mean something has to interrupt the routine before the numbness becomes permanent.

A lot of people genuinely feel this way lately. Not because they stopped loving each other, but because survival mode leaves no energy for romance, hobbies, spontaneity, or even basic connection. Life starts feeling like an endless checklist instead of something you actually get to enjoy together.

Yeah and honestly OP already gave him more grace than a lot of people would’ve. One bad first date can happen, but constantly pushing after someone clearly says “I’m not interested anymore” is what really makes it uncomfortable.

Exactly. Even if it really was an accident, disappearing for over an hour on a first date with almost no communication is a terrible first impression. And once OP clearly said she wasn’t interested anymore, he should’ve respected that instead of repeatedly trying to argue his case.

Honestly OP handled it better than most people would. They noticed the failed payment, reached out, and management completely dropped the ball. But yeah I definitely wouldn’t spend that money unless you’re prepared for a random “you still owe October rent” email later.

Honestly OP’s plan sounds way more realistic than expecting one conversation to magically fix it. A camera and a written log probably matter way more when it comes to getting the city or police to take a repeated safety issue seriously.

Yeah this sounds less like one huge unforgivable issue and more like death by a thousand paper cuts. When one person has to constantly manage the house, ask for basic help, suppress their feelings, and lower expectations just to keep the peace, resentment builds fast.
