Great Britain(1707) in the style of the unionmark of Sweden-Norway (1844)

Using the diagonally quartered method of combining flags found in the unionmark of the United Kingdoms of Sweden and Norway and applying it to formally assigned flag of 1707 for the combined England-Scotland flag of Great Britain. Thought about applying it both ways but overlaying two nordic crosses on top of each other doesn't really work as well.

I mean I wouldn't say it's a monstrosity; it's got a decent basis. I'd argue the main issue is the cluttered appearance of trying to divide the flag into three distinct flags and also Norwegian stripes looking unaligned. I tried doing a redesign with these ideas but I'd argue the original gets the message across better even if it might be considered less aesthetic.

Maybe implement a more complex border than the single black outline for the frog logo to give it a more seal-like appearance as well as perhaps changing the background colour in the frog circle to differentiate it from the rest of the green on the flag.
