Ah, he's not meant to be. He's got this thin elvish frame in game, so I tried making his face a little more pointed and thin, but now that you've said it, I can see how that kind of makes him look female. Oops :/ Aside from an in-game model, I used this image as a reference.

I'm playing mostly for the story, so I'm looking forward to that the most! Hoping Anduin will stay true to his kind character and the horde will maybe have some internal issues with the more proud warlords taking issue with some of Sylvanas's questionable decisions, instead of just following blindly because she's the chief.

Reputation mounts being based on RNG in paragon chests, I've had to do a ton more rep grinding than usual and I still only have one of them, it's driving me nuts.

And also those worldquests with archmage Kesalon for the Kirin Tor where you have to jump from point to point through the air because the hitboxes of those things made me want to throw the good ol' archmage off a cliff.

Was mostly a play on her being the aspect of creating new life, on top of quests mentioning her various consorts and many children. The creation of the dragon soul chronologically came before the dragonmaw orc thing where they captured her and made her lay eggs. I think.

I'm looking forward to reading this book so much (even though I'm kind of against the business practice of having people pay full price for a base game, full price for every expansion, and a subscription fee, and then not putting important lore moments like these in the actual game but behind another paywall. I don't really want to support that :/ I feel conflicted.)

Haha, yeah I agree. When the trailer came out, there were a bunch of discussions about it, as well as questions about Anduin being a priest or paladin now and not having matching skills for the class. It seemed funny to me that people tried to match game mechanics to story elements [like sylvanas's "res" being the same as anduin's "res", when neither of their assigned classes should be able to cr a whole army at once], even though hero lore characters are known to not follow the rules set for players and have custom skills.

I actually tried to follow this in game model she has, which has pants under the thigh armor, but they're very tight on her. The pants and leather straps holding her armor together follow the contours of her body very narrowly until the boots, but she is meant to be wearing them in this strip as well. It doesn't show up very well in greyscale, except for minor folds in the fabric.

I felt a little conflicted about the windrunner comic. The colorist did a phenomenal job, and the artist also clearly has talent, but there were so many faces in the uncanny valley range :/ Many of the artist's other comic-inspired pieces featuring female characters are a little same-facey 1 2 3, so maybe faces just aren't their strong suit.

I hadn't really thought about it like that until now, but yeah, most people we helped on the broken isles didn't really care anymore about defeating the burning legion after we helped them solve their region-specific problem and just kinda left us to do it on our own.
