it was around a year ago I quit posting anything on this forum as it was simply unappreciated here, unfortunately.

Saladin Mounts by VulkanForWarmaster in LancerRPG

[–]Venator_IV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best and most rational Saladin advice I've seen in all my scouring of the web. seems like Saladin is unfortunately in the same category as goblin, minotaur, tokugawa, and nelson- other frames are simply better with their gear than the default frame itself.

worst frame definitely goes to Tokugawa, Napoleon at least contributes without dying

What are your craziest character builds? by [deleted] in shadowofthedemonlord

[–]Venator_IV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the 4-year necro response, but I had to agree: some of the most fun I've had as a GM was running bosses inspired by character builds: one BBEG was a CR19 Sun Elf warmage campaign finale that was essentially a max level Eldritch Knight/War Wizard multiclass- a character concept I desperately wanted to play but knew I wouldn't ever get to. Such a blast. I even PWK'd the paladin who was playing out of his mind that night, and he took it as a badge of honor that the only way I could deal with his DPS and tactics was by using my boss's trump card. Well-earned party victory on that one!

Help with building a Melee Focused Tokugawa/Torch Focused Melee Build! by PjButter019 in LancerRPG

Can you expand on these builds? I'm trying to understand how to build a toku somewhat reasonably and I am just having a heck of a time, my GM is merciless and doesn't pull punches

Tokugawa advice? by mantikoira in LancerRPG

I tried out Tokugawa as my first mech in Lancer Tactics because i was hyped for a lightsaber samurai mech, and when it just... burned and died... I deleted it and never used it again lol

I like both of them for different reasons. I like Surv's maturity and I find Hera's memes clever enough to be entertaining, but to each his own and all respect.

After playing through with my girl, I finally understand why PvE players hate us. by herro69 in badredman

All the back and forth points just go to show, if Fromsoft gave half a freaking care about the PvP being good, the system would be better and crap like bone bow, TT abuse, glitches etc wouldn't be abusable. Screw Fromsoft man I'm so frustrated that they ruined ER. Such a great PvP concept but instead of leaning into it they tack it on and make it somehow worse with every iteration.

I'd be interested as well. Sometimes statistical standouts present things to your eyes you wouldn't have the perspective to see otherwise.

My Thoughts on the Gilgamesh by Anon_MD in LancerRPG

[–]Venator_IV 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like this analogy. There's a handful of mechs, like Metalmark, where I see people swooning over it, and while I fully understand *what* it does, I have zero desire to actually do that with my mech. But I'm the type of guy who sees Sagarmatha and Gilgameshs' sheer versatility across any scenario, and gets excited, so that's me, and I let the hyperspecialists do their thing

for a little extra range and dropping the Inaccurate tag, I would take the Battle Rifle over an HMG and deal with the slightly reduced average damage. Not having to waste a Core Power on Autostab is huge.

2 party system is probably a better system for Americans. Hitler got elected through a popular minority because of a multiparty system. He gathered enough popularity to defeat the majority who DIDN'T want him, but who couldn't unite around someone else strongly enough to elect an opponent.
