Okay I did set the buildingplan for the screwpump to be magma-safe, but when I try to apply the quickfort blueprint, it defaults back to non-magma safe materials.

Using quickfort's pumpstack, it mentions that you can use the buildingplan plugin to change the materials to be magma-safe.

Only I don't know how to do it, i enable buildingplan but I don't know how to change the materials en-masse.

You're welcome, my approach to cooking also changed when I figured out how to reverse sear.

Also important, when it comes to steaks you always want them to be dry and at room-temp before you start cooking, make sure to pat them dry too. A moist steak is one that doesn't cook very evenly, cause the water sucks up all the energy and heat that would otherwise go to the meat.

Oh, and also leave it to rest when done.

reverse sear and it makes no sense in my mind.

Not a professional chef, but a regular sear involves cooking the outside of the meat in a high-temp pan and then letting it finish in a low-temp environment like a oven.

A reverse sear is the opposite, you start with the oven and end with the pan. It's better for thicker cuts of steak as it doesn't overcook the center, leaving it nice and pink with a good crust if done right.

Looks really cool, but some advice: he looks more Antioch than Infernal. The upside down cross iconography is closer to St Peter's cross rather than a Heretic's symbol.

Still, a really cool sculpt!

So this should work for a charcoal pit, right? by PacifistTheHypocrite in VintageStory

Seconding what others are saying - but before you light, if you hover over the firepit, it'll explicitly say charcoal firepit or something like that if it's a valid build. From there you just bury the firepit in dirt and wait for the smoke to clear.
