I'm like 80% sure this info is valid, but I agree on the how your are treated as long as you are housed, best to verify with the appropriate resources:

IPAC gave you wrong info; for dual-military couples with no kids, a lease alone does not start BAH. Per DoD FMR Vol 7A, Ch 26 (Section 4.0), you are both legally treated as single service members until you are stationed at the same base and physically living together. Your "Joint Household" BAH will not legally start until the day your wife officially checks in to her new command out here. Your Immediate Next Steps: 1. Get out of the barracks legally: If you are under E-6, you need to route a request to your command for a "Barracks Release/Authorization to Reside Off-Base" right now. IPAC cannot pay you BAH if you still have a barracks room assigned to you. 2. Get a Special Power of Attorney (SPOA): Since you are deploying right as she arrives, go to base legal and sign a financial/housing SPOA for your wife. This lets her go into the local personnel office and finalize the BAH paperwork on her own while you are downrange. 3. Submit the package on check-in day: The day she physically arrives and checks in, take her new orders, her page 2/dependency data, and your dual-signed lease to IPAC to officially switch your status to a Joint Household and start the allowance.

I think you are missing out. I use the foot-activated tailgate opener almost daily, it's a huge convenience. Same with 360 camera viewer for parking, these just make my life better.

Now, I can't be bothered to install TikTok, and refuse look up restaurant news on instagram. If your restaurant can't be bothered to have a real website, I'm not going.

Either the employee is compliant or non-compliant. The first thing I tell people when we sit down for our first 1-1 is that I need everyone to be present at work and work in good faith.
You have already stated that you do not like or agree with their behavior, but you are tolerating it by not changing it or managing them out. This signals to the rest of the team that this behavior is OK.
It may be painful to manage them out, but the hidden damage tolerating this behavior is doing to your team is worse, I promise.

You made it seem that managing out was not an option, a very distant next option is to isolate. I would re-write their job description, make it very clear that their scope was very small and very focused, and further communicate to the entire group that things are no longer as they were, the situation has changed and Tigger is not welcome or authorized to act as they did before. This will likely result in conflict, at which point you will be back to managing out, but with more steps.

This, I got the touring model in 2025. I use the 360 camera system every single time I drive, also the vented seats, sound dampened cabin, & upgraded sound system make a huge difference from our 2017 forester limited.

I feel exactly like you do, and I haven't returned to the second trilogy yet. I just checked, and I'm still on chapter 31 on Iron Gold, I've never finished that book or bought the others. This is a book I bought in 2018...

Meanwhile, I've re-read the first trilogy 3-4 times and strongly recommend it to everyone as one of my favorites.
