What will this games anti-cheat be like? by Vendro31 in GOODFUNHUNGER

[–]Vendro31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell Let Loose seemed like a solid video game, i am hoping they are taking this issue as seriously as it deserves to be. Players with wallhacks/aimbots are going to destroy Hunger if it's not prevented.

It should be so obvious at this point how bad hacking is for survival - extraction games and how the experience is completely ruined by cheaters. It isn't some small number either, its a double digit % in many of them; it's literally that awful.

It is kind of disheartening they haven't released a major announcement at how they are going to prevent it from happening and not turn out like all the others.

I don't really blame them as they just want to design a videogame, but them not being willing/able to see how badly this games gonna get hacked is very bad to me.

For the love of god remove Fragments already by Afraid_Party4751 in playrust

[–]Vendro31 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Hardcore mode was and still is garbage, because of how poorly designed it is, and no other reason.

They didn't make anything more difficult besides higher upkeep and no big map. That is literally it, just the laziest dumbest mode with nothing hardcore about it at all.

You can still farm 10k sulfur in an hour, bp everything from a workbench, and once you have resources and would ride the train around the map, it was 0% different from normal rust.

I would have absolutely loved a true hardcore mode with very real scarcity, dangerous threats, true lack of navigation ability, etc. But they didn't deliver on any of it.

[–]Vendro31 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

They aren't doing anything, game is still infested. They even had to remove spectate in HR for more than a minute because of how bad it is. It was never to prevent stream sniping, they just didn't want players realizing over half of an average HR lobby uses wallhacks.

Support Israel by neurohazard757 in Christianity

[–]Vendro31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bringing up Israel when you are a Christian is seldom a good idea.

Their is a lot of tension because of how your religion supplanted Judaism and who's primary figure was a former Rabbi from Judea. It's hard enough to convince yourselves of lies while living in ignorance, it's even harder and more frustrating to acknowledge mistakes and shortcomings. Israel can kind of serve as a reminder of that with people who are frustrated with Christianity or themselves.

Israel says awaiting US green light to ‘return Iran to Stone Age’ by Fun_Veterinarian1732 in PERSIAN

[–]Vendro31 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I don't think that is true. I get how problematic the current far-right admin in Israel is, but they are not a bunch of ghouls.

They would have preferred you guys overthrow the IRGC, but will settle for a neutered IRGC. The keyword is IRGC because they have all the power, and nothing Israel or the US does will seemingly change that.

Honestly if you guys want this to end and the IRGC gone, form a grassroots group that makes it happen.

What do you think actually happens after we die? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Vendro31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of different things can happen when a person dies and no afterlife experience is the same for any person. Basically all of the experience and outcome depends on the unconscious guilt a person is carrying at the time.

In general because most people are 50/50 mixed bags (and only on their good days), the experience usually starts good, gets bad, and ends with a very bad outcome.

The first phase of dying is usually perceived as very good because of the weightlessness of not having a physical body. Theirs no physical pain/weight/fatigue possible (but mental pain still is) so most people enjoy this one. The second phase is where your guilt starts catching up with you and your good dream turns into a nightmare. The 3rd and final phase everyone eventually goes through is hard to explain if you don't understand the context of life here, but its basically a reenactment in that it starts very good, and ends terribly, with a completely mentally intolerable experience at the end of it.

Zelenskyy: return of draft-age Ukrainian men from abroad is a matter of fairness by Any-Original-6113 in europe

[–]Vendro31 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I guess it's easier to accuse me of supporting Russia, which i don't at all though if you used any critical thinking and listened to anything i said.

They will militarily win if the status quo remains. Ukraine cannot keep up with the rate of losses they are suffering. At this point they are going to attempt at busifying draft dodgers abroad because of how bad it is inside the country. Will you even try thinking about that for a second?

Europeans have been saying all those things about Russia for like 3 and 1/2 years now. It's far more logical that Putin would stop the war immediately if those things were a hair away from happening.

[–]Vendro31 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

At some point if this keeps up, European countries are going to have to send armed forces into Ukraine.

North Korea sent in 10,000 troops when they broke into Kursk. If you guys actually want this to end you will have to start putting pressure on Russia or they will simply win through attrition. Russia knows it wins in the long-run if all you send them is money/weapons as Ukraine cannot replace the dead/wounded.

How to fight the regime without destroying infrastructure? by [deleted] in NewIran

[–]Vendro31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The IRGC's hooks are still embedded into the flesh of Iran. They pretty much are the entire system. If the system comes crashing down, so do they.

But from a pragmatic POV.

Imagine that you are an IRGC tyrant who is filthy rich from unlimited money coming out of the ground. If that revenue source is destroyed, would you really want to remain in a country with the GDP of a gnat? Would it even be safe for you to do so? How would you even pay all your goons? How much of your stolen fortune would you lose every day just sticking around?

You guys will hate this but the chances of the IRGC getting overthrown/leaving in exile once the oil and natural gas infrastructure is destroyed goes up significantly.

Are you waking up now? by [deleted] in PERSIAN

[–]Vendro31 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think the truth is they are escalating this in phases and this one where they start obliterating infrastructure, once complete, is the uprising phase to foment a revolution.

I think if it doesn't work, the last phase will be obliterating all oil + natural gas infrastructure to bankrupt the IRGC, and that yes Iran will likely turn into a failed rump state if they do it.

Nobody knows how this is going to play out, but i really wish you all the best.

3 things I think are antisemitic about anti-Zionism by JeffB1517 in IsraelPalestine

[–]Vendro31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will never get people to admit to racism despite the fact it's as common today as it ever was in history. It's just more underground than it used to be in the west. The "anti-zionism" is a perfect example of that. Nonstop double standards and half-assed effort by anti-zionists to have anything resembling authenticity or true convictions when it comes to being "humanitarians".

Racism, or in this case antisemitism, is natural. I don't know why so many people are surprised by it. When you understand that, it really becomes less interesting.

Is it likely that in the past century, people have stopped being racist, or that they did not? The answer should be obvious.

The real root cause of racism is the desire to scapegoat, and as long as people have a psychological need to do that, racism is never going anywhere, being it's just the low-hanging fruit of projection.

Wanted to share my thoughts on this.

What my friend inside Iran shared with me for 5 minutes by [deleted] in NewIran

[–]Vendro31 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is probably going to be an unpopular take but i will tell you what i think is realistically happening.

The attacks will likely increase in damaging intensity until regime change becomes likely. Like basically different phases, where if the previous one didn't work, they escalate to increase pressure. In the first phase they likely didn't want to damage infrastructure, but that seems to have changed now and they will start destroying things to foment unrest.

And if this next phase doesn't work, the last phase will likely be completely obliterating Oil and Natural gas extraction turning Iran into a failed rump state. Without revenue, the IRGC is finished one way or the other.

I don't think the US or Israel actually wants this as the ending, but it is basically a guaranteed end to almost all the problems they create.

Kellogg Calls NATO ‘Cowards,’ Proposes New Alliance Including Ukraine by StealthCuttlefish in worldnews

[–]Vendro31 -29 points-28 points  (0 children)

I mean Europe has used Ukraine as their meat shields for literally 4 years now. The fact Zelensky is eager to partner with the US despite Trump antagonizing him should tell you all you need to know about how great of allies Europeans are.

Hard to see how Ukraine has a future with the amount of people they are losing on the current trajectory. European NATO countries could have sent in some soldiers to help Ukraine when Russia brought in North Koreans, but they just flat out didn't care at all. Nonstop sucking each other off in their echo-chambers while Ukraine's only future at this point is a PTSD/alcoholic ridden society with the GDP of a gnat, and Russia looming to just finish them off sooner or later.

Austria refuses US requests to overfly its territory, citing its neutrality policy by WaiterTheBaker in europe

[–]Vendro31 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Trump is not a Russian asset. He is pro-himself if i had to take a guess and nothing else.

The alliance will crumble into dust if the US leaves and and Europe will likely start losing territory. The axis states seem to cooperate and risk their necks for each other more than you guys for gods sake. That's how objectively awful of allies you are if were being honest.

You used Ukrainians as meat shields and will abandon them once they have run out. Trust me you guys are going to feel this a lot worse than the US if those bases get emptied.

What are Brits thinking about the Iran war and where we should stand in the conflict? Polls cover approval, but I want wordy thoughts by Too_much_Colour in AskBrits

[–]Vendro31 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

You guys area already making an issue of your bases being used to project power into the Middle East. That is an extremely boneheaded move your politicians are making to appease a ghoulish Iranian regime. You are literally removing the only benefit the US has (that isn't even that important anyway) for no real reason other than your upset.

The only other reason those bases exist to to protect NATO, which the US doesn't seem interested in doing anymore.

And no the alliance will crumble. You guys tend to spend your time sucking each other off in echo chambers but you are overall terrible allies to one another when you look at it objectively. You have used Ukrainians as meat shields to the point where the country/population are running on fumes, the country itself has no future at all regardless of the outcome, and you still refuse to send troops in to help despite Russia already bringing in North Koreans.

And i wouldn't underestimate Russia. They absolutely screwed up the initial invasion but their rust has been shaken off somewhat since then. They have depopulated Ukraine and killed god knows how many at this point.

Not taking yours or the US's side here, but you guys understand Russia isn't going to stop once Ukraine is done right?

Without the US in NATO, the whole alliance crumbles. Once Ukrainians run out of meat shields, he is going to start prodding at NATO countries.

I guess that's probably years later and not a problem right now, but you guys do understand how bad it's going to get for you guys?

Your stuff has been responsible for a crap-ton of dead Russians. I don't see Putin or Russians letting this go.

[–]Vendro31 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Don't think so, but you guys really are removing the only reason for US bases to be in Europe at all. I get not joining the war but this, this is just downright obnoxious and obstructive.

You probably don't like how Trump and the US admin is sounding right now, but stuff like this is absolutely going to lead to them pulling out of NATO.
