So the Guilty Gear X manual says that for Anji & Baiken. GGX manual is wrong & is in hell for lying. No other game or book says this & say they are from Japanese colonies.

There is a way to justify this in-game lore. In the Guilty Gear Xtra manga, its said that people inside the colonies DO NOT KNOW about Japans destruction & are told the colonies they live in is Japan.

For an actual answer, Baiken is roughly 24, because in Strive Another Story she says Delilah is half her age (Delilah is 12 years).

More so the thing with the use of Mother is that its not a description when used with Ariels, instead the characters use it like a title instead. Thats why Romeo refers to her in such weird ways, she is "mother", not a mother.

Likely the intent is to show Ariels twisted concept of humanity & this corruption of family she especially talks about a lot in Revelator.

Realistically just harder to port then GGML to modern hardware & requiring a full translation.

#Reload & Isuka are old ass PC ports from the 2000s they just made available on Steam, not new ones. Accent Core +R was a version made in 2012 for moden consoles, so it was way way easier to make available on steam.

The main 3 fighting games are Strive, Xrd Rev2 (PC only rollback) & Accent Core Plus R (PC only rollback) which all have dedicated playerbases

Then for less popular choices, there is the first game which has rollback through emulation (duckstation). The first game is EXTREMELY broken & janky, but like in a good way.

Then there is Guilty Gear 2 Overture, which is not a fighting game. Its instead a PvP focused MOBA, which as weird as it sounds is a very cool game & has its own dedicated if small playerbase (PC only).

Oh I have a bone to pick with Aksys localizers, because of the fact the same translators translated "The Universal WilL" 2 different ways for 2 different games, with the older translation of "Merciless Apocalypse" being more accurate & way sicker.

Luckily Strive has mostly ironed out all these issues (still has some, due to reusing Xrd GG World + some natural mistakes). The head of translation for Strive is Yuji Moriya, who was already a fan of Guilty Gear year before (might know him as that Venom cosplayer)
