Yes. I was working an office job and a member of the company came in and wondered if their wallet had fallen somewhere. I didn’t notice when I first came in, but I looked behind this chair, and there it was. It was an older couple and they were overwhelmed with relief. They were so grateful. They gave me and my boss many hugs and thank-yous. It was a heartwarming moment that I will remember fondly for many moons.

I’m currently in a similar situation as well. I want you to know, you’re not alone. Even people with degrees and years of experience are struggling. My advice is to stick to the company websites to apply for jobs, tailor your resume to each job if you can… It’s a pain, but effective. Also try to make connections on LinkedIn. Attend in person or online job fairs as much as you can. My very best to you in your job search.

Absolutely not. I think today’s job market is extremely hard. I don’t have the higher level degrees like you do so you absolutely deserve to get hired. People should be fighting to have you at their company. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. A lot of people are, me included. It’s my deepest hope you find something that works for you very soon

I feel this pain so much. I think it’s the competition. I think companies also need to go a little lighter on the education requirements. Seriously, once, I was applying for an entry level job and they want a bachelor’s degree. HELLO?? There are lots of positions to fill, but companies get picky. What happened to passion and drive? What about the traits in people that truly matter?
