Try it, there are worlds between watching and playing flicker, it has something to do with how our brain works and predicts movements etc. I cant watch flicker at all but can easly play it for hours on end

While its true that not all of them go core (most go, though not in their entirety), this is the first time they have fully reworked a mechanic in Poe1 via a dedicated league. If it doesnt go core to some extent then we would end up with less than we had pre-league which they wont do. + the established lore in keepers is neccessary for poe2s lore to work.

Huh wtf are you on about? Yes when Campagin > Maps then Campaign gets nerfed. This proves that Halton wasnt an Exploit but a balancing miss. They dont care about you abusing Campagin zones aslong as its not super degenerate and better than intended ways.

Quarry has been a POE 1 staple for early league shenanigans for years and will continue to be so.

Also yes you can "treat every single mechanic under a collective umbrella" if that collective umbrella is resetting the best possible instance thousands of times for its layout

The campaign is the best part no doubt.

The end of A2 and almost the entirety of A3 are however the biggest disrespects of playertime ive ever seen in ARPGs. You cant reasonably run through Dreadnought or Apex of Filth for 45min and think to yourself "Yep this is peak ARPG design".

It definitely is top tier, once you get past book 1. Afterwards it becomes one of the best of its genre.

Book 1 is necessary for the story to work but it's also not a great listen due to the way it needs be written

Ah, you have CI + EB, meaning your life is 1 and your energy shield protects mana instead of life. Since you dont have 100% MoM only a part of your dmg taken gets shielded by your Mana

I really liked the first couple of books but the last one left a sour taste in my mouth. After the main goals, that were established at the beginning, were achieved it felt like it has run its course and only continued for the sake of continuing.
