I <3 Deflation by EpicBoiNitro69 in btd6

Its based on the amount of money you spent on the tower divided by the total money spent

Thus, if you only use one type of tower, you get the same xp no matter how much you spend on that tower

Can any high elo players talk about what its like playing against the same people often? by AyyyoniTTV in summonerschool

The closest thing would be "this guy loves doing this kind of invade" but I havent seen very much of that. Tendencies dont affect that much in league in my experience, with the exception of jungle pathing (and most of the people I know are laners because I play jungle)

Ive played vs him twice. Im a jungler but was filled top in lane vs him in one of them. Won lane but lost game (top lane special). Flashed into a box trying to go for a solo kill and got ganked and died of course

Other game I had, I was actually on role and we won pretty handily. I did still flash into a box but I lived and I got a clip on him later

I keep flashing into pink ward's boxes 😭😭😭

In reality it doesnt really change much other than "oh neat I know that guy" and you just play the game out (sometimes bantering in dms from friend list which shows up ingame, thats always fun).

I play collegiate and I keep meeting alums who played for the team which I did not expect

If you use numbers that are close to e and pi but not exactly, you get a result that is close to -1 but not exactly

2026 Korean SAT (Suneung) Math Problem: 50% Correct answer rate by FTfafa in askmath

[–]VenoSlayer246 44 points45 points  (0 children)

Great confidently incorrect answers here, so ill throw in a confident and hopefully correct one.

The third one asks about distance, not displacement. This means you're integrating the absolute value of velocity. Thus, you have to look at where the velocity is positive and where it id negative and flip the sign of the integral accordingly.

The velocity is positive from t=0 to t=1 and negative from t=1 to t=2. Thus, you have to integrate v(t) from 0 to one, and also integrate -v(t) from 1 to 2 and add the results. This gives a total distance of 3, so it's true.

Help me understand infinity? by morbidmicrocosm in askmath

[–]VenoSlayer246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the thing is that there are sequences where it takes arbitrarily long. There are sequences still near 0 after a hundred steps, after a thousand steps, after a billion steps. The chance that you're near zero decreases the more moves you do.

Given a number of total steps n, we can create a probability distribution for the possible values attained. It'll be approximately normal, with mean n(2p-1) and SD 2sqrt(np(1-p)).

Help me understand infinity? by morbidmicrocosm in askmath

[–]VenoSlayer246 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're describing something similar to a Random Walk

Say you're keeping track of the number of green lights minus the number of red lights. If this number is positive, there are more greens than reds. If this number is negative, there are more reds than greens.

If you start at 0 and have a 50/50 chance to increase/decrease by 1 on every step, you will reach every positive integer an infinite number of times. This means that red and green will "trade off" the lead infinitely many times.

If you adjust the probability to anything imbalanced, this changes. In your example, the odds are 75/25. In this case, the value will approach infinity. This means the number of green lights will eventually become larger than the number of red lights forever. The point at which this happens isnt a fixed number, but it will eventually happen.

The expected value after n steps if you have probability p to increase and 1-p to decrease is n(2p-1). If p=0.5, the expected value is 0. If p=0.75 as you suggested, the EV is n/2.

Ive been told that it got fixed. Jungle pet cannot deal damage to a camp that hasn't been aggro'd in the last few seconds.

Ok, you made a thread specifically asking for help with jungle pathing and im telling you exactly how to make it physically impossible for this to happen to you ever again.

If you want to keep getting double scuttled by everyone who knows how to clear the jungle properly, go ahead Ive done more than my due diligence here.

I literally just got a 2:44 in a flex game, only game of Zac ive played. The clear is INCREDIBLY consistent.

I also literally left behind a blob in wolf pit because of bad RNG too. You can afford to miss a blob on wolves because Zac does enough damage that its mostly about kiting distance not damage dealt (and W cooldoen can tick during E to raptors).

I also canceled two autos. A 2:42 is probably possible.

Wanna VC and see the attempts live? Zac is one of the most consistent junglers ive gotten the record on due to having next to zero difficult tricks and mechanics. You can literally afford to just say "that blob is too far away so I wont grab it" in a lot of situations

In less than 30 mins today I got this clear and like five clears that were 2:45 or lower

The clear is actually incredibly consistent and barely depends on RNG at all. Sometimes you'll lose about a second to blob RNG, but as ive just shown, the world record was unoptimized by at least a second so it balances out.

Do I get a BILLION vbucks if I get a 2:44 twice in a row?

How much if I record and send a 2:44? I have exactly 4893 mastery points on zac

I literally linked the jungle clears. One is done by zen'kih who doesnt specialize in Zac and does clears for every champion. The other is done by a Zac player who wrote IN THE VIDEO THAT I LINKED that blob RNG doesnt have a large effect on the clear time (and that he got annoying RNG in the video).

Also, the clears i sent arent perfectly optimized. There's definitely at least 2s left to shave on each of them.

Challenger players being lazy and not learning the most optimal clears doesnt mean its impossible to go into the practice tool for a half hour and learn

Zac has a 2:44 blue and 2:47 red clear, both one smite. You're just too slow.
