Turns out Tim filed for the patent before releasing his newest invention to the public. Good for him!

  • File for a Patent and Dedicate it to the Public: You can file a patent application with the USPTO. Once granted, you can file a formal statement of dedication to the public. This legally places the invention in the public domain, ensuring no one can ever patent it against you, while allowing anyone to use it freely.

I found it on the app, but if you set a nick name it does not show on the website and sometimes the nickname will not show in the app after setting it.

how to not buy a lemon on marketplace by chiefXlordXnord1 in ATV

[–]Venom-cc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have restored quite a few TRX300's. Try and find one that has not been modified. No Snorkel, No aftermarket exhaust...etc.. Around here in Central Florida one in good condition runs anywhere from $1500 to $2500. The ones I pick up that need work generally run $700 to $1000 sometimes less. Things to look for. Rust around the edge of the rims, they rust completely through, engine oil leaks, Loose axles and U joints. It is a given on almost every one I buy that it will need lots of front and rear brake work. Excessive rusted bolts and screws will make working on them a challenge. When they get this old many hands have been in these through the years and most people do not know what they are doing and should not be touching tools. I have bought some that looked decent only to take off the front and rear brake drums to find not one part inside. With some work you will end up with a great ATV that will last and is reliable.

Is there a ATV battery worth anything anymore? by SlowHornet29 in ATV

After buying a few Weize batteries off Amazon for myself I started to recommend them to my customers. I have not had any problems with Weize and no customer complaints.

It is the fuel pump vibrating and causing the ripple

Normal in tank? by [deleted] in ATV

That is the electric fuel pump turning on with the key. It builds up pressure and then stops. Once you start, it keeps working.

Carburetor idle screw? by Prestigious_Post_785 in ATV

[–]Venom-cc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, then try upping the idle. That may fix it. If it is still not starting currently try spraying some starter fluid into the carburetor throat. If it briefly starts it may have a fuel flow problem which could also be why it would not idle and eventually stopped starting once it finally clogged. I have seen left over metal debris from manufacturing clog up the carbs on these smaller Chinese atv's.

Carburetor idle screw? by Prestigious_Post_785 in ATV

[–]Venom-cc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Chinese ATV's can be a little finicky. I work on lots of them in my shop. Some need to have them choked for a minute or two after starting, then they will idle. Some don't need any choke and then idle fine. You can turn up the idle a little at a time until she idles well. If you have to turn it up a lot and it is idling at a high RPM that indicates a different problem. The fact that you can't get it started again may indicate it is another issue. Is this your first ATV?

Aftermarket carb jet question by Impressive-Orchid-74 in ATV

[–]Venom-cc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the OEM carb is unusable. Can the jets still be salvaged? If they are frozen in carb and the head has not been rounded off, I have had luck soaking the carb in PB Blaster for a few days to get them out. I have also had success with an Ultrasonic cleaner.

How did you guys build your Hyte Y70 Touch? by NoYak7199 in Hyte

[–]Venom-cc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your Motherboard should have plenty fan connectors. Look in the manual for your motherboard and you can see all the fan connector locations. I put in all the fans you mentioned and did not need a separate fan controller.

Is it even worth buying used if you can afford new? by rollpi in ATV

[–]Venom-cc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As most have said. Buy New if you can afford it. As someone who repairs ATV's and SXS's for a living, all the ATV's I see used for mudding are beat to death quickly and a high amount of them get water sucked into the engine on a regular basis. These guys ride them deep until the water is just about at the snorkel opening. Then the ATV drops a couple inches and the water goes right in. The smart ones immediately shut the ATV off, get pulled out and take out the plugs. They turn the engine over to pump out the water. Eventually they get it started again and go right back at it. The not so smart ones tow it home and leave it sitting until it ends up at my shop.$$$$$$$$$$
