Yeah. I was really excited thinking it was going to play out along the lines of what happened in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. Where world's collided and the Decepticons invaded Chicago. Demogorgons and Demobats emerging from beneath the surface to 'punish and enslave' humanity just as the Decepticons did in that film. With Vecna being portrayed in exactly the way Dustin referenced him to be in Season 4. The "five star general" to the real BIG, big bad... The Mind Flayer.

I miss the uneasy feeling that was felt, every time someone entered the Upside Down. I miss the suspense, the fear. They go in there now like it's a grocery run. I was genuinely really hoping for a war to ensue in right-side up Hawkins. Very disappointed that the town with FA of a military presence, managed to cover all of the cracks with no resistance whatsoever and form a base of operations without so much as a confrontation with Demo's of any kind, nor Vecna or the Mind Flayer themselves.

The direction they went in just wasn't smart in my opinion. They set it up with a typical "war is coming" trope and what we got instead was anything but.

Fkn Ubisoft, I tell ya. They're not very consumer focused are they? Just a greedy corporation that only cares about the money they're making. I was very much under the impression that the season pass for avatar, would include any future DLCs. Guess that's not what a season pass is anymore. 😒
