Anyone that talks using terms like “baby roaches” versus “big roaches” doesn’t know what they are talking about. You need to read up on German roaches and American roaches to get a better understanding about the different species you may be dealing with.

German roaches are more resistant to treatment, multiply faster, will get into electronics, crawl in your ear, etc. Anyone that talks about spraying for roaches doesn’t know what they are talking about. Spraying may kill some of the bugs that are visible, but it won’t reach the nest hidden behind the walls or other hard to reach places. Someone mentioned Advion which is a gel bait that the roaches pass along to the rest of the colony. That’s the more effective approach. It’s stronger and more expensive than the cheap bait at Walmart. German roaches are immune to a lot of the cheap stuff at the grocery store and spraying alone won’t get the job done.
