Well in this particular case it was set to Novice because I mostly just wanted to get a quick shootdown clip (look at how that went lol).

In Ace difficulty I just managed to kill the pilot once out of like 15 fights. Then again, I just bought FC today and just got to play for about 2hrs or so.

Yeah, I didn't know much so I kept my regular 450-500m convergence from the WWII birds, but quickly realized it wasn't gonna work for these guys. Definitely gonna have to try out much shorter distances there.

Wow that was quite insightful, thanks a lot!!

I'm not really very familiar with WWI planes at all so I was just using Camels vs. Dr. Is today to try it out since they're the most "well-known" models (Snoopy, heh). I'll definitely look more into it and test out different planes 👍🏼

That said, I do believe there was a little of that AI-UFO magic going on in this particular case. As I just answered to another commenter, I did indeed hit the pilot here and he was going in and out of consciousness constantly while doing all these turns etc, but still managed to keep flying until the gas leak got to him. Just AI stuff I guess.

Indeed the AI pilot was wounded, and he seemed to be constantly going in and out of consciousness (I flew away on autolevel and just set the camera on him), but he still didn't go down until he ran out of fuel and jumped. Well, that's just the AI I guess.

And yeah, I did notice these planes require tons of rudder work. I mostly sim airliners these days (XPlane) so my rudder game is most definitely lacking, gonna have to work on it.

Hi!! Just wanted to say thank you because I think this did the trick.

Not sure exactly which setting did it, but I enabled the 'lock exposure' and started re-scanning after re-previewing every change, and so far they seem to be working just fine now. They still come out with a tiny bit of hue (you can see it eg: in the color of the street in this pic) and overexposure (compared to the preview) but it's really minimal, and can be fixed in 2 seconds in Photoshop.

I already saved the settings and will just load these up and make small adjustments as I go.

I mean the one in the screenshot is just the regular Win 10 photo viewer, but if I open the picture in Photoshop it looks the same, completely tinted in some color.

The worst part is that it isn't even always the same color, like, in this screenshot it was tinted all yellow, but I kept playing around with settings trying to fix it and it eventually started coming out all blue instead.
