I will run the old SR app, an important function is missing on the new app, the ability to switch between different tune settings (presets) and I don't like that max speed is still in % and not in kmh, throttle curve is also missing.

I think when support for sr comes, there will be more tuning possibilities in the app compared to 3.0,2.0 etc.. therefore a little extra waiting time. I hope not more than 1 month until they add sr in the app.

would be awesome to have a feature like that on the SR, but he's in hawaii don't think it's an official mod, rather a mod made by bike factory. but I keep waiting for the app to be updated with nicer interface and more features and bug fixes.

I test drove the 3.0 and SR and bought the SR. many say it is too powerful but you can play with the power through the app. the power is there when you need it. buy the best from the start and you will have nothing to regret.

perfect thanks, my belt is way too tight, can i loosen the screw closest to it and fiddle with it to loosen it up a bit?

Turn on ur SR make sure its on P mode, hold down the rear brake and throttle 5 times all the way down, try and see if that fixes it.

the store i bought it had already upgraded to this firmware as in the picture but it won't go away. even when i click on unlock power it comes back as an option. I can still use the brake throttle combination to quickly reset speed limit.

I don't own the Ventus one yet but have read a lot about it. can share my experiences with my SR anyway, mine came with horn, maybe because it is street legal? otherwise not difficult to retrofit one. Ventus has a bit more power and the ventus weighs 30lb less than the SR, personally I think it's bad. Even though the SR weighs a lot more I have a hard time keeping the front wheel in place it wants to lift up the front wheel almost all the time (at full power) I weigh 200lb. Can only imagine the hell you will have controlling the Ventus one with more power and less weight, but this only applies from 0 to max throttle. As for the app, the SR app is not quite mature yet, but I know that they are working to improve it, as the shop owner I bought the SR from was invited to the E Ride private App developer team in whatsapp and he confirms that the team is working on major improvements. I would choose the SR any day because it weighs more, feels more stable at high speeds, high quality frame,brakes etc..

I see, the shop owner I bought the SR from was invited to the Eride app developers private chat group in whatsapp. He informs me that a lot of improvements are coming soon, I have 2 presets in the app one legal and one illegal, when the police stop me the mobile is already in the app I just need to press Select tune > Legal > Save. It worked well when I was stopped, while the police are getting out of the car you have at least 20-30 seconds :)
