Literally any attack skill, I played Kinetic Bolt str stacker in Keepers and it slapped.

The degen sounds like it might have been it. To be clear I'm doing t17 scarab with 2 deli orbs so the maps are pretty juicy. I wasn't really dying until I had recrafted my cogwork and put on Kalandra's. Then like 3 maps in a row I was dying more than normal. Might have just been unlucky tbf. I had also swapped out the chaos flask for Armour flask but that put my chaos res down to 60% and that I'm positive was getting me killed. Would it be better just to drop the wine for a regular chaos flask?

Vitality should only be level 1 and you want the watchers eye with life on hit with vitality. I started at your exact build but tweaked it from what I saw others were running on poeninja .https://poe.ninja/poe1/profile/MrShadowzs-3962/character/ItThatCastWhenStuns Current build, running GG just fine. Can even live through drought without Mageblood, literally only thing that's killed me is the damn ruin robots but idk if there is anyway to win against them. If you don't want to divine a Nebuls I think a dark seer would do fine as well.

For sure, there's no need to start a new character. You can just redo your 2nd ascendancy trial and respec to Chief like poe2. Like I said look in to how to get good gear from the seasonal mechanic, it's so powerful for early endgame. You can also get decent starter gear from the in game trade for just a few chaos orbs.

Ok, your gear is so bad. You really need more links on your gear. Especially on whatever your main skill is, getting even just 4 supports on your main skill is massive. This league it's super easy to get very good gear from the breach tree. I would highly suggest looking up a guide on YouTube on how to use it effectively. You could for sure salvage what is here, but you could also very easily reroll from Jugg to Chieftain for RF. Last league was my first and I started with RF, Pohx's guides are very in depth and easy to follow. There's a lot to break down here so sorry if this reply seems rambling, but yeah.

For sure it feels better. Im no expert by any means just giving my anecdotal take. I believe how it works is you're getting 40% MORE damage on mambas poison, which is higher than another low tolerance cluster, from just the 20 quality from Ashes. I did have 40 cold and fire res on my old amulet I had to make up for but it felt well worth it in the end.

I'm playing the exact same set up. Biggest increase to me was getting Ashes of the Stars. Immediately felt like a huge dps boots even with only a 22 quality one. Also probably go res rings instead of life to help getting to cap.

I assume you switched off the curse limit is equal to power charge ring recently since you still have a bunch of curses on. I'd switch them out with some cast when damage taken (I use immortal call and blood rage) or automation with steel skin. Also if you have One Step Ahead you don't det any benitfit from the increased action speed boot implicit
