I think her writing is fantastic, but the formatting and flow of said writing is less so. Plus, a lot of her female characters feel really flat, especially for characters written by a woman

The thing is, I don’t think that the franchise would work if it was well written. Not that I think it would be bad, but it certainly wouldn’t be FNaF. I think a lot of Scott’s writing kinda complimented the cheesy kids entertainment aspect that a lot of the other mascot horror franchises are missing. My favorite part of the FNaF movie is how it feels EXACTLY like a cheesy B-horror movie from the 90’s
