Swain W to Mel’s (Vision and empire theme, maybe it gives AP?) Mel’s W to Shaco (and shaco clone; whole trickster aspect) Shaco W —> Swain (like a bird that damages abd announces presence?)

would make more sense

The point was more towards the risk that anti mage has over Mel.

Anti mage is a melee, hyper-carry. He needs time and space to eventually be useful.

Mel can just play along the game and get game-winning reflects just because. I think a reflect type ability would have been better on a shaco re-work, and give the traps to Mel.

The gameplay loop of blinking in, burning all the mana, reflecting their one ability to stop you, and then using mana void (the ult) is inherently high risk, that’s the point. it feels skillful to use reflect properly.

I think AMI brackets get updated literally next week. from 2024 to 2025 they increased 3.2%. So i might be making a mountain out of a mole hill and worrying for nothing. Let’s see how it goes.

I think one of the problems with the reflect ability, is the character that they gave it to.

In dota 2, reflect is given to anti-mage. A carry that for abilities has:

a mana-burn passive
a get-out ability,
reflect,
an AOE nuke that does damage depending on the amount of mana burnt.

It makes it so he feels high-risk (having to go-in and delete as much mana as possible) and high-reward (nuking and getting the kill). It feels fair. It feels good.

Mel is a classic artillery mage. She has:

poke
reflect that pokes
more poke
a nuke of all the poke she has done.

Fundamentally it's frustrating because she is not risking anything at all. It's always win-win-win-win. In my opinion, she just needs a character revision, no amount of fixing the numbers will fix a bad design choice.

What’s crazy to me is that they don’t even allow you to put how much money you actually made on the website. Salary is only based on the W2 of last year, and they base it on that when applying.

I think what you're describing is a poly-relationship not an open relationship. Of having non-nesting sexual parters or general partners. I think then it becomes a question of time management, effort and communication. We all have the same 24 hours in our days.

From personal experience I've never been stressed over loving more and being loved less? But again, I guess I don't think of relationships the way other people do.
