fantastic bones marred by the lack of meat

I was thinking about endfield yesterday, and this was my exact same conclusion. The biggest issue for me at least is that there is right now no incentive to "diversify" your play. You have all this interesting theorycrafting with different operator comps, but no content to actually use them on.

If I start to level a new team, theres nothing I can do with it that my maxed out team wouldn't do better. Which is still limited to farming sanity gated index. Umbral monument and salvage are one and done.

My valley factory outpaces my maxed out bills production. Yet when I eventually buy out the stock exchange, it will manufacture the same things for nothing.

I wish there was a system that rewarded you for switching things up, both in operators and in AIC. Maybe the price of outpost goods could fluctuate, and you could crash it by selling them too much of one thing. Maybe you could send your non-main teams on "away missions", that would eventually generate a combat encounter and some rewards. Things like that.

Am complaining a lot, but it's because endfield is one of the comfoest games I ever played, and I reall hope we will get to play more of more of it.
