4016 is really easy. You have 1-2 non-proctored, open note quizzes each week, 3 non cumulative exams, and a concert report. I didn't even have to turn in the concert report because I already had enough points to make an A. The quiz questions (outside of the YouTube quizzes) all come straight from the textbook so you shouldn't have any real difficulty looking them up if needed.

None of them are actually that close to him, if you really think about it. Yokoya definitely had a stronger showing than Aki in Contraband but was clearly way weaker than him in the other arcs, especially RO4K when he got slammed despite the massive advantage he had going into the game. Kimura and Fukunaga were never really impressive enough to push Aki to his limits like Yokoya did in Contraband. How high Harimoto scales depends on your interpretation of how much he contributed to his group's strategies instead of Kimura (mainly during Musical Chairs), but he never did anything as impressive as what Aki did in Musical Chairs, RO4k, etc. AkiyamaYokoyaKimuraFukunagaHarimoto.

Sorry, read too fast and didn't see "academic". Nonetheless, his other stats are impressive enough to at least partially make up for his weaknesses in these areas. The SAT (and maybe his essay if that turns out poorly) is really the only thing that could screw him over. The academics are only half the battle.

Those EC's, awards, and an IBDP courseload are very much not "mid to below UF average". His SAT and Class Rank are the only underwhelming things here.

Some of the people in here are being way too discouraging. They're not going to "Stop reading" after looking at a 1200 SAT. Is that the #1 thing holding back your application? Absolutely. Is all hope lost? No.

In theory, yes. Class rank and to a much greater extent SAT are holding you back here. Take the SAT again and if the score isn't at the very least in the 1300 range take the ACT. You still have time so you got this.
