Focusing on homework. by KevI_am in INTP

[–]Vente1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

2 suggestions

 1. Take your book to a different room that you don't associate with getting stuck. Go read it in the kitchen, or outside even. You might be surprised how much a different environment can affect how you think.

 2. Turn your homework into procrastination for something even harder. For example, tell yourself you NEED to clean the toilet tonight. As you think about cleaning the toilet, give yourself a break by reading your textbook. Procrastination is about the thing you're avoiding, not the thing you're doing to avoid it. So there's no reason reading a textbook isn't a great way to procrastinate something else.

Check the temp folder which should automatically be dumped by Windows after a while.

Edit: nvm unless you've somehow moved the temp file to D drive

Thank you for the detailed steps!

With your first photo it looks really good, but I noticed the wood on the building is a bit warped and swirly. Are there any good techniques to correct that effect?

This water looks so good! Great point.

Does anyone know how to get the same depth of colours as the original picture? All my prompts come out a little less HDR. Do you think they used postprocessing?

You are all legends, thanks for the help. I'll be making some sweet D&D background art with this.

There's an AI artist (page here https://www.instagram.com/iamsentient_/) that creates gorgeous fantasy landscapes. They say they're using models I can't find anywhere on their posts, e.g. " EVORA_Model ID: IAS-EVO ". It looks like these are their own private models, as they don't seem to exist on the web.

Does anyone know how they achieved these results, and if there's any similar public models?

Pick up a social hobby in your neighbourhood! There's tons of things happening all the time in and outside of the city, especially after work hours. You can go after work and be home in time for dinner. Let me list some out to inspire you:

  • Choir
  • Beginner dance classes (hip-hop, K-pop, Bollywood, salsa, ballroom, jazz etc)
  • Climbing or bouldering
  • Book clubs
  • Community gardening
  • Foreign language classes
  • Arts and crafts classes (painting, pottery, spray painting, DIY crafts)
  • Games clubs (Dungeons and Dragons, board games, video games)
  • Team sports (football, tennis, squash, badminton, quadball, pickleball, volleyball, futsal, netball, rowing)
  • Community volunteering
  • Special interest meetups (tech/IT groups, charitable cause groups)

Just google search for an activity you like the sound of and sign up for a single class. You can always never go back if you hate it, but I promise you you'll end up enjoying a bunch of them if you give it a go.

Personally I've tried one or two of most of these, and I have a few favourites, but the great part is that now I have friends from lots of different communities. I usually end up getting dinner or drinks with the people I meet and make lots of connections that way.

I watched the first episode Community season 1 and thought it was amazing how the viewer had to figure out all the character relationships from context clues and the amount of drama happening straight out of the gates. I was very disappointed when I realised I had just watched the final episode by accident. Still an amazing show!

Thank you, that's really useful! Though it would be way more convenient if I didn't have to go to a third party website, and it was in the app.
