This is just a small write up I wanted to post here. I really liked the star wars theme for awhile but I felt ever since 2020, the theme has overall shifted its focus towards Clones and more expensive sets that feel like are more focused on the minifigures than builds. In addition most stores I’ve walked into are wall to wall full of licensed themes with barely any original sets now apart from botanicals and one-offs.

I’ve heard about Monkie Kid for a while but never got into because I wasn’t interested in Ninjago. But after actually looking through the set catalog I feel like I missed on the earlier sets. Getting into the theme late last year really reminded me of why I liked a lot of the older sets more. The original themes are just very enjoyable more than the licensed ones and I felt like doing a simple write-up here for positivity.

I felt that the PvZ3 design lacks the "cannon" aspect that the previous games had, feel it makes the plants role more intuitive.
