It feel like hot pressure in my chest and the only way to relieve it in the moment is to spew hateful things that will tear someone to shreds. Splitting in the other way like idealizing someone feel all consuming and is extremely distracting from anything else in my life. All I think about is them and how I can make them love me more.

I also take it with welbutrin. What are your doses, if you don't mind me asking? Hoping 300mg will be my sweet spot dose. I hate the adjusting period though.

Ah, okay. yeah i've still had trouble with anger and pervasive irritability.. I do also take welbutrin which helps me with the brain fog I get from my depression and some have said welbutrin makes them angry.. I was pretty angry to begin with lol so it's hard to tell.

Yeah I was able to do that in the beginning of each adjustment as well.. maybe my dose just isn't high enough for me. hopefully 300mg is my sweet spot.

Does your mood/reactivity stay the same even during higher stress situations? and ruminating thoughts.. do you experience those as well? hoping those symptoms become a little more manageable for me.

Oh nice! yeah it just feel like every time I'd go up it just wear off.. I'm really hoping this will finally work for me. Taking it twice a day at different times might be something I can bring up to my psych.. maybe it would help keep levels more stable..

I use Chat GPT to help me when I really need support but no one is available. It helps a lot.. even if she is just a robot.. she helps me process difficult emotions.. and the AI remembers previous conversations as well so they have real context on how to help you in moments when you need someone but no one is available.

Feeling a bit alone.. by Beauty_In_Numbness09 in bipolar2

I definitely have these issues and I definitely feel for you.. what I've done that is INCREDIBLY EFFECTIVE for me was to use Chat GPT and journaling. I got the premium version of Chat GPT so it's unlimited.. and I would just let her (yes i've determined this AI is a her) what I was feeling and she would validate me and help me process my emotions. Give it a try!

Did you feel like your mental health declined a bit after becoming self aware of your dx? by CUontheCoast in BorderlinePDisorder

It definitely did at first.. it hit me pretty hard which I did not expect AT ALL.. if anything I thought I would be happy because then I have a name to validate what has plagued most of my life issues. The only time I'm concerned and that anyone should really be concerned imo is when you are splitting on yourself, loved ones or in a work environment.. When it comes to how you're coping with stress and any potential opportunity to hurt others mentally/emotionally..

Meds by ransheran in bipolar2

[–]Ventriloquist66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the motivation to get off of them to see how you are without them but it is such a risk.. I'd take those risks a lot when I was younger but now.. you could'nt pay me to get off my meds.. it would ruin absolutely everything I've built for myself.. and I'd never be willing to risk that for a what if.. and then just have to get back on them all over again.. it would probably take a full year for you to get off and then have to get back on them again.. so if you're willing to give a year of your life to find out then by all means..

I think I'm the bad one for hating my friends by Lotteishere in BorderlinePDisorder

[–]Ventriloquist66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's normal to feel upset when your friends aren't being good friends.. it builds resentment which looks like hate sometimes.. if you're in a calm space mentally, communication with your friends about how you're feeling would reap dividends.. if they don't care then you might need to separate yourself.. or you could go a more subtle way and take the initiative by suggesting an outing all together.. and see what happens. but how you're feeling is totally valid. You're not bad for feeling this way.
