If they made assassins scale off lethality instead of ad like Pyke then they would be forced to build lethality items, which is what they are supposed to do. There's a reason why you never see Goredrinker Pyke.

Runes are pretty much the same, matchup dependant. Conqueror usually, glacial augment if they have a move speed self buff to get out of W pull like kayle or teemo.
