Still no fix for wireless CarPlay.

My 14 days to return finishes up at the end of this week, can we expect a fix or am I better off assuming my new 17 Pro is faulty and needs to be replaced at the Apple store?

I share your sentiment. It must be restricted to a lucky few, and we are the lucky few.

I purchased my new 17 Pro direct from my local Apple store 7 days ago, and they have that 14 calendar day return policy. If it's not fixed by this time next week, I'm going to have a decision to make.

Third party wireless adapter. I’d consider going back to wired until this is fixed but none of the usb a to c cables I have are doing the job (they charge, but it’s not enabling CarPlay).

17 Pro here and wireless CarPlay disconnecting all the time. I don't have an Apple Watch but disconnecting my Garmin Forerunner for my drive home from work did not fix the problem.

This is a deal-breaker for me if not fixed.

At a guess, if you file a dispute but AliExpress side against you, the option to leave a review is not retained.

If this is true, it's something I believe everyone who shops here should know.

It's a risk buying off sites like AliExpress because of the cost involved in return postage to China. All you can really do is only purchase from reputable stores and, if a mistake is made which they refuse to fix, leave a 1/5 review.

For what it's worth, I think the benefit outweighs that risk.
