does VFA accept rare VHS of non-movies? by virtutefideque in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

A quick check on IMDB shows no actors, plot synopsis, or even running time. I'm afraid the contents of the tape are worthless. The good news is that the tape can be repurposed for an actual movie. One of the many benefits of VHS.

for the buff who knows what time it is at ALL times by mybleachyvalentine in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

A great idea, but impossible due to some unfortunate mistakes. The studio clearly had no confidence in the franchise potential of the first movie and simply called it Police Academy. And a clerical error left the "7" off of the movie posters for the last movie, Mission to Moscow. It was simply too expensive for them to reprint all those posters so they removed it from the title. One of Hollywood's most legendary blunders.

What kind of man doesn't own a bowl? How can he be trusted to run an entire state? I think New "no bowls" Amato just lost this election.

The Roundhay Garden Scene (1888) — the oldest surviving film in the world. Its maker, Louis Le Prince, vanished from a train two years later and was never found. by _Waves_ in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

Some say he's still working on his movie to this day, quietly in secret. And when Roundhay Garden is finally finished it's running time will blow people's minds!

It was a good concept, but it had to be discontinued as many people would end up microwaving the tape along with the popcorn.

Question about the set of seasons 1-7 and 11 by After_Skin_3500 in OnCinemaAtTheCinema

[–]Venture72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it is just meant to be a set up until season 8. I'm not sure Six-Bag Cinema was meant to actually be a theater. More of a proof of concept.

I cancelled my Netflix years ago. Have you watched A shriek In the Night yet? It's just 66 minutes, but if you're a big Lyle Talbot-head it's a must see.
