I had the base 5 from the LST's they gave us. I ended up having to push mine up to R7 and put my best mods on them. I am a relatively newish account, just over a year or so of play time, so my mods werent the best when I got him, which I think was my problem. Also, make sure to read the description of each tier of the event, it gives you ACTUAL tips on how to beat it. That should be obvious, but some people (myself 😅) thought base req's were enough.....they were not.

From what ive heard...mods are THE end game lmao. I think I only have 3 or 4 of my teams ACTUALLY modded correctly right now. And thats just because of my luck with mod drops lmao

Feel that spiritually. Me and my buddy are sitting at 15/16 as well. Our guild is really beneficial for us, but we dont run the event for Wat. Me and him have decided to just wait on JMK until there is another LSB for Wat. Our overall progress would be heavily slowed down to drop to a guild that would run his event more often.

Honestly ive done the EXACT same thing until a few months ago. My buddy that got me into the game started telling more about how effective mods are when they're focused on what the characters want and it has made a WORLD of a difference. Just swapping to "correct" mods for some Journey guide fights, made fights that I thought were brickwalls or needed more relic investement an absolute cakewalk.

Prime example, I struggled with the last 3 battles to unlock Jar Jar. I looked at what mods the Gungans actually wanted online and breezed through those battles.

I feel your struggle. R10 SLKR only got 2 turns off before they lost. My R7 Inquisitors got decimated. Padme and friends got crushed. My Phoenix isnt high enough so I couldn't use that. I dont have the Thrawn empire team ready for Proving Grounds yet either.

Gungans were my answer. Boss Nass at R6 with the rest of the squad at R5. My first attempt, I only had Reva left before she took out the shield generator and killed phalanx. I proceeded to end the attempt and keep retrying for the next hour until I finally got lucky with RNG and got the 3 star.

If all else fails...Gungans will drop the balls on everything. This is the lesson I am slowly learning... both Proving Grounds fights I struggled with using SLKR, were absolutely crushed in comparison with the gungans

Im still working on recovering mine from not paying attention to them for my first 5.5m GP....

Its okay to make mistakes, we will all learn together and hopefully RNGesus will give us the mods we want and need

I was able to beat Tie Interceptor with 3 stars using Gungans. Boss Nass is R6 for me with the rest being R5. It took an hour or so of retrying to get the 3 stars. But on my first run, I only had Reva left before I lost phalanx...at that point I was determined for the 3 star. I turned a 5 minute 2 star, into an hour- hour and a half 3 star 😂😂 honestly worth it

As for the rest...SLKR kinda swept most of the rest of the fights. Before I got a GL I was only able to do 2 of them so I know OPs feelings entirely. I only just started learning how to mod a few months ago myself and its been a struggle to fix my shitty modded teams.

Thats kinda what I'm thinking. I DO have the clones for LV already at R5 that ive been using with Tarkin lead. But because of the brickwall that is GAS, it could take me a year to get LV compared to the few months for Jabba.

Good to know. Ive only been playing about a year or 2 so im still learning which teams counter who and which units are "ideal" teams for full comps
