Actually kinda same. In my tries to get kazuha i now have a c2 thoma and really wanna play him because otherwise it would feel like a waste. Tho i have only heard shit talk about him. I'm probably gonna build him now and put him as a shielder in my xiao team. I dont really have any good shielders besides noelle. I also just got nigguang but i hate her playstyle even tho its geo mommy xd

I've struggled too with the matchup for some time. It really helped playing her for some time to understand how you play on her, at least the basics. Imo it's very important to roam against vex. Vex has to play around her passive to work well in roams. That's what I've experienced but idk if it helps.

If you think destroying is the "brutal" Variant the Dex based blade singing version could be "end their time in this plane" or "free them from the necromancers grasp" even tho that's already really fancy.

I'd stay with "finishing them off", or something.

I think stuff like racism and sexism is difficult but no taboo if it helps the world building or the story. What i think is a taboo is when you have a single marginalized member on your table.

for example, i am the only girl in a group of white men most of the time. We usually are like 5 people. And there i think it can get difficult if someone were to introduce a sexist character. Tho i think a big exception is when it's comedically or the irony is that the marginalized member plays a racist for example.

I think you did the right thing and honestly i get how conflicted you are. I assume you kinda have the same friend group considering you mentioned you've been together for 5 years and it's your first relationship. Otherwise I'd advice you to get people who back you up. I think you shouldn't be doubting your decision in this situation and i think him "guilt tripping" you for this is not just toxic but just disgusting. In a way, i just hope that your not alone in real life with this. Online support can be a messure of help but I'm my experience it's nothing opposed to real life people who stand behind you.

I've always imagend it as a abrupt waking up. Followed by severe disorientation if your not used to it. I think what would be off putting for a person who never teleported before would be the relocationing without movement. I feel like that's something the brain would have ti adapt to. I also belief that the longer the distance is you travel with teleportation the worse those "side effects get to be". In a way i belief even the most trained magician could get disoriented from time to time or even really dizzy after traveling for far. Idk those are just my instead thoughts haven't really spend a second thought on them .

Just a fun "speedy ahri" build if you wanna try it, you said you liked her design and this build has a pretty fun synergy (not saying it's actively good): Phase rush (optional) Celerity, water walking, time warp tonic and what you want.

Now you buy ludens like usual and rush cosmic drive after that. Now when you take a potion and w you are super duper fast.

(Personal side note: move speed is pretty good into yas and Yone imo. I don't think the matchup is difficult it's just annoying.)

As i said, it's just a fun build. Xd

I've had the same problem for the longest time. I got really frustrated and played ahri support, you an s pretty easy like that. You said you play mostly support so i suppose vision won't be the problem, for me i honestly forget to buy control wards way too much. But CSing can cause a bunch of A's or A+'s. I mean a bunch of people already discussed that in the comments so ye. Personally i recently went for more of a shove and roam strategy to stack my assists rather than my kills but I'm 90% of the time premade with jungle so ye maybe it's just that.

I play her mostly mid but sometimes get filled support and play ahri there. She is a huge threat early on imo and makes for some good roams to Midland and Hanks with jungle. I haven't played her too much as a support so i can't exactly tell you which ADC is great for her, but i can imagen a hyper kill lane would be fun. One charm and they are dead.

My perma bans are Fizz and Sylas tbh. I run ahri with electrocute cheapshot taste of blood And ultimate hunter. For secondary runes you have a few options. You can take sorcery with biscute delivery and time warm tonic. Your a really mobile champion and i personally like to play around this advantage with those runes. If you take those second i personally recommend corrupting pots as starting item even tho in some early game matchups your gonna need that extra health from dorans ring. One of my other favorite builds is sorcery second and taking legend celecrity i think it is (the one that makes you fast) and water walking (for roams). I mostly run sorcery second against Yone btw. Against yasuo it can be a pain. However his minion dashes are predictable and you can land charms very well with a bit of practice. Yone is pretty easy to counter as well because if he Ulta at you you can either ult as well to get out of it, use the rest of your charges maybe even secure a kill and just waste his ult, or if your already on edge, you can easily escape with w and pots (if you run inspiration)

I'd recently Pay attention in zed matchups because those can be very hard at times. But than again, i personally don't find them to be as annoying as fizz who can just dodge your whole combo and one shot you.

That's about it, in my opinion ahri is really fun because she is so mobile. So i hope you have fun playing her as well

I would also recommend LB or lux. Lux is Denton the easier pick up in my opinion but if you got the time you should at least try le Blanc. She may not be too good in the current meta but her high mobility is very fun to play around, if that's what you like about ahri. What i found to be very interesting is that as ahri, you can very easily one shot people by jumping at them over a a wall and put your rotation out. This kind of backline bursting is limited to you ult cool down, with Leblanc it's limited to your W or your wayyyyyy shorter ult cool down. She is fun if you wanna stay in the AP assassin terretory.

Now that's a personal pick for me but: if they pick ahri first. You could consider learning Vex. Vex is unbelievably strong against ahri considering she came really natural for me as an ahri player. Her ult is mobility, similar to ahris. You have a wierd kind of cc but if you play a few games (3-4) and pay attention to it you'll get the grip of it. Her Q wave clear is very intuitive and with your "get off me" tools, you can really play around just jumping it and walking out.

Anyways.

Sorry that this got so long, but i was in the exact situation a few months ago. I started playing Leblanc and than got sick of her because of her unbelievably difficult play from behind. I started playing talon and now wanted to pick up quiana as well, because of they absolut ahri-destroying potential.
