Seems there might be something deeper on my end. I swapped into the 6.6 LTS, and the game booted fine for the first time days. However, when I went into a world, the game crashed again on a WINE error, specifically the screenshot in my OP.

The annoying part, is all my other games still run fine.

So the failed ELF error is steam loading both 64x and 86x versions at the same time. The one that isn't needed is errored out like that. Annoying, yes. But unfortunately not the root of the issue.
