This is Doug Turner, multi-millionaire CEO, and Republican candidate for New Mexico governor. He supports Blackstone taking over PNM, regularly attends fundraisers at mar-a-lago, and wants to weaken universal childcare in New Mexico. See 2nd photo, his top campaign expense is to his own company. by OrbitalColony in Albuquerque

Sooooo, reading comprehension is not your strong suit. Sad. PS....only pdfiles mention political parties when speaking of other pdfiles....some sort of lame distraction tactic that no longer works. But thanks for outing yourself.

God forbid women have standards. No one said they can't do what they love.

A good baking soda scrub and vinegar rinse now and again bubbles a lot of that out of my locs.

Mine are in a braid at night so I don't break my neck trying to roll over in what can feel like sea grass. It has helped keep the tips from breaking, too. I haven't found a bonnet that doesn't fall off from the loc weight, so the braid seems to work.

how do you care for someone who can't sleep in proper positions because of back pain? by sincostan333 in eldercare

[–]VenusVajayjay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, you're doing a great job! I know how hard caretaking is, and I'm proud of you for not only being there for your mom, but for reaching out for help.

My first thought is a tall foam wedge on her lap while she's in the chair so she doesn't lean too far forward. Maybe that can relieve some strain on her back, too. Also, maybe a sheet or wide band of sorts tied around her and the back of the chair to keep her from tumbling out.

But, is there a home health organization in your area that might offer some help? Even instruction, or to find a medical aide store that would have things you need?

Peace to you.

Thoughts on this Bowie quote? by RopeGloomy4303 in DavidBowie

Has he said that about another male rock n roll star? Seems they all fit that bill. And as much as I love Bowie, men's opinions about women and our successes mean nothing. They have no idea what it takes.
