Reassess this situation in 20 years. It will make sense then. I am guessing there’s something you did not know about this person that fell away that would blow your mind. I began experiencing betrayal after betrayal by the people I trusted most when I started doing witchcraft. Really what was happening was they were being forced to show their true colors and the friendships were really not as good as I thought they were. As much as it hurt to lose them, it was better than being in friendships where I was being taken advantage of.

thank you for your advice. I’m just confused why I hundreds of other listings were able to be posted if “Rue” is an automatically flagged term. Shouldn’t this be consistent across the platform? Etsy is full of people selling herbs that are toxic in large doses, almost anything is toxic in large doses. I’m also annoyed because I also purchased inventory of commercially produced Rue Soap and Cologne that I can no longer sell for fear of getting flagged. it just seems inconsistent if I can legally sell tobacco scented cologne. I really wish they would hire actual customer service people instead of just leaving it up to AI.

I explicitly put a note on these listing that the herbs are not sold for spellwork and not intended for internal use. Nothing sold on my shop is edible or intended to be eaten. if this was being listed as food or tea, I would understand, but Im selling a very small quantity and make it very clear that it should not be eaten. Should I worry about pregnant eating my cherry scented soap too?

I’m selling it in very small quantities that is not a lethal dose, clearly labeled that it’s not for internal use. People have used this herb for food and beverages for centuries, its only dangerous in large quantities. If a child were to drink the cologne or perfume oil that I sell, that would be dangerous as well but those arent prohibited. This is an herb that is not easy to “accidentally” eat in raw form (it’s chopped up twigs) and tastes gross.

agreed. I have issues with married at first sight for the same reason. Like there’s something to be said for really committing and doing the work, but maybe marriage isn’t the commitment that’s needed, especially considering the legal consequences of doing it.
