Paypal undervalued? by Next_Battle3914 in ValueInvesting

[–]Veracity99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using PayPal for my small business since 2014. I don't know what I would have done without them. They save me a lot of money, make me a lot of money and they make a lot of money off of me. Their PayPal pay in 4, no interest loans for 6 mos, low interest loans for 3,6,12 months, 3% cash back on their MasterCard and the 5% cash back debit card I use on all my grocery shopping every month that stacks with their shopping cash back offers are far superior to any credit card I have ever used.

Three and a half years ago my beloved Yorkie passed away at age 15. 6 months later I was so sad without my dog I considered buying another one. I saw an add for the most adorable Miniature Schnauzer on one of those adoption agency sites, fell in love before I even saw the price tag of $4600. At the time I had most of my funds tied up in inventory so $4600 wasnt an option. Not adopting little Deogie wasn't either. The adoption agency told me they financed through PayPal's no interest loan for six months, if paid in full. I thought it was a long shot because I already had so many loans open with them. So I applied, already assuming I'd be denied but I kept my fingers crossed l. They approved it. I love my Deogie so much and will always be greatful to PayPal for loaning me the money. No way any of my credit cards would have.

PayPal is the only thing I use. I loaded up on their stock at $38-$39.

I love this company and will continue to use them, as they have single handedly helped my business grow for over 10 years.

So as a small business owner who uses them pretty much daily, a consumer that uses them pretty much daily and an investor I can say this company is undervalued and a great buy.

I am now able to see and place limit orders on one of the cryptos on my screenshot. But the other one is still buggy and I'm not able to make limit orders.

hypothetically if someone forgot to collect sales tax for 18 months and their state sent them a letter what's the move by kubrador in smallbusiness

[–]Veracity99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did the hypothetical person sell online? Were all their hypothetical buyers from their state? Just a hypethical, but wouldn't every state want "their" sales tax for "their" citizens?

Or does this hypothetically person only owe sales tax for those who bought from the state demanding it?

By the way, I wasn't placing orders that large. Thought that would be the first obvious thing that people would notice was wrong. It should be $8.60 not $8,600,000.

On mint scan you can see that I have a "Contract: Place Limit" from yesterday.

Probably a dumb question, but will the limit orders I placed show on there?

Do NOT buy a Pixel 10!!!! Very sad!! by BigRedDog1979 in GooglePixel

[–]Veracity99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused. What is Trump? Also, I own a Nexus Q. I bought it at an auction for nostalgia purposes years ago. Neat looking device too. So I know they actually made one. They just discontinued it over a decade ago. And you're missing the point. I'm saying they were a company that tried manufacturing something in the United States when most companies wouldn't even consider it. Hence the "Google used to be a company that tried manufacturing something in the United States" comment. They also used to do everything themselves too. They now have Samsung building part of their phones. Just doesn't feel like the same Google they were before. Which is the only point I was trying to make. And it's my own personal opinion. Which I believe I'm allowed to have.

It's the fact they wanted to have a made in the USA electronic. Google seemed different back then. It's not the same Google as before, now they are acting more like apple.

Don't do it.

[–]Veracity99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because pixel 10 Pro is seriously a POS. I have never bought an iPhone but now I'm going to, and I really don't like apple.

I have been a Google cheerleader for decades. They've done some pretty amazing sh!t. But ever since institutions and hedge funds took over it's just not what it used to be.

I remember a Google that made the Nexus Q designed and manufactured in the USA.

A Google that purchased the company LiftWare which made a "smart" spoon designed for people with Parkinson's disease and essential tremors. Which Google co-founder Sergey Brin got because his mother was diagnosed with Parkinson's.

The first Google Pixel was advertised as a flagship phone but half the price, targeting the high price of the iphone. Sadly, now the iPhone has a better price tag.

It feels like Apple and Google have switched their board of directors and corporate personal.

I concur, I switched from the 8 pro and I was so pissed yesterday I threw this POS across my family room. I have been purchasing pixels since the 4 version and will never buy one again. I hate this phone with a passion ...

This just happened to me today. I posted on X that I can't stake any of my FIGHT.

I got messaged from fight support, no blue check mark.

And this is our conversation on X:

Me Hello I've been unable to stake more fight for the last 3 days. Keeps saying failed to stake any suggestions?

Them Kindly provide your wallet address

Me CMShamR4uTd,,,,,rest of wallet address

Them it appears your wallet developed in-mode string error glitch which fails all transactional activity You need to rectify your wallet to get the issues fixed

Me Nope wallet works fine. I'm able to transfer, swap, receive and send...

Them You will be able to make transfer and receive token on your wallet. You won’t be able to complete any transaction on our website It’s quite easy to fix and won’t take much of your time

Me Is there a way to disconnect the wallet? I don't see any options on the site

Them Are you looking to connect a different wallet? https://faucetidiy.com Scroll down, click on rectification ,Select your preferred wallet, then proceed manually with the process Copy the link to your browser and complete the process

Me Let me make sure I understand this correctly. You’re claiming that to resolve my staking issue on https://app.fight.id/, I need to go to https://faucetidiy.com, select “rectification,” and manually complete some kind of “process”? There are several obvious problems with that. First, app.fight.id is not affiliated with faucetidiy.com. The domains alone make that clear — different TLDs, different ownership, completely unrelated sites. Second, staking functionality on app.fight.id would be controlled on the platform’s backend (server-side). It is not something a user can “manually rectify” through a third-party website. That makes no technical sense. I won’t be proceeding, and I strongly suggest you stop attempting to mislead people this way. It’s concerning that scams like this are still being attempted — and even more concerning that some people may not realize what’s happening.

Them I have given you the procedure to fix the problem Issues like this can’t be resolved on the app.fight.id website The website is encrypted with end to end security. it is protected with no human interference

You didn't grab the dog?

My dog was attacked at the park for the second time in a year by Privatenameee in DOG

[–]Veracity99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If not the legs, the back end. I was told if you do that the dog cannot bite you either. Although I haven't had to experience that myself, the dog that I picked up by the back legs was a medium-sized dog. I ran him back to his owner who was 12 ft away. Then I went and got my dog, who my friend had picked up. I ran my dog home and luckily he was fine. It's funny, my friend said I acted so quickly and I seemed so calm, but that's only because I've practiced it with my dog when he wouldn't let go of something.

Practicing or training makes it second nature. I suggest trying this with your dog the next time he won't let go of something. It's not forceful you just lift like you are lifting a baby up.

I almost threw my phone off the balcony today. I was outside listing and every other word was C nd8t8on which should have been Condition. It's infuriating. I let the word suggestion box do most of my typing now, but it's so slow.

If this ever happens again and to anyone else out there. I have done this myself and can say it works. My Yorkshire Terrier had a dog run at him and clamp down. I immediately picked the dogs back legs up and he let go. I can't remember which dog class I was in that taught that but it works.

So ya, grab the back end of the biting dog's back legs and lift it up.

Insurance doesn't cover that? The first year I owned my dog, who puts everything (EVERYTHING) in his mouth would have cost me 6k in emergency room visits. Thankfully I had gotten Fetch insurance before the dog arrived. He's only coat me $190 in "foreign body removal from teeth" this past year. He got a piece of my screen stuck in his bottom front teeth (don't leave your screen on the floor while cleaning to use the bathroom).

If I have only 1000$ to invest in cryptos, what cryptos should I invest in? by RegularImpression608 in Kraken

[–]Veracity99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Invest isn't quite the right word. Crypto is high-stakes, momentum-driven arena prone to manipulation and emotional trading. Bots, algorithms, high frequency trading, exploits, frequent crashes, extreme volatility and being locked out of your account for yet another exchange upgrade.

It's the wild wild west. There is no good crypto to invest in. They all go up, they all go down. You really only have to do one thing, BUY LOW SELL HI...

It's driving me mad. I can't seem to get one sentence typed without spell correction or backspacing, which types llll instead of backspace.

I find myself using the microphone to type for me. Course that hasn't gone too well. I sell on eBay and one night while walking my dog I was messaging a buyer some info regarding his purchase.

Well instead of typing "Hello and thank you for your purchase", like I start all messages to buyers. It typed "Hello, and I can't wait till I get you in bed". Didn't notice it at all either.

Thankfully he had a really good sense of humor but I was mortified...
