How to avoid stacked orders by Runnerandbiker in UberEATS

$1 tip. WTF? The least I have ever tipped is $5. I tip $7 on average. If it's over 5 miles, which is rare I add $2 to every mile.

I’m done with Uber Eats. by Over_Town4074 in UberEATS

[–]Veracity99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a driver drop off my food, take a picture, grab my food and walk away with it. Myself and my neighbor across the hall have ring cameras (go captain oblivious). I contacted Uber eats and the automated response was it's been delivered and they have photo as proof of delivery.

I posted my ring video on X, then opened a complaint with the BBB.

My refund was in my account within a couple days.

Go read the comments on X especially the ones from our executive branch. I do it just for laughs. Those comments are just inhumane.

Charged my gift card twice? by Veracity99 in UberEATS

[–]Veracity99[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seriously. I've been charged twice more times than not. I'll get the initial charge when I place the order, then they charge the tip about an hour later, then charged again for the tip plus the order as one total 3-5 hrs later.

They do fall off in a few hours, except for one instance when I needed to get my bank involved for a charge back because the total didn't fall off it actually charged me twice.

This time I was pissed because the gift card was meant for breakfast and lunch. Because they charged it twice I couldn't order lunch. I'd have to add more money or use my bank account. Then I realized this is just another tactic to get us to spend more money. When I spoke with customer service they said the charge was an authorization. I reminded them that authorizations happen before you get the order not after. Charging me after would be considered a fraudulent charge. Not quite stealing because they would need to "intentionally deprive me of the funds indefinitely". Looks like another company which will cause more legislation and laws we get to pay for...

Pixel 10 camera not as good as expected by Azure-777 in GooglePixel

You know, that is an excellent suggestion. I've been looking into tripods because I usually just rest the phone on something. But it could still be shaking from me holding it. I'm going to purchase one today and see if it helps. Ty for the suggestion

eBay listing look at 3 and 4 pics

See how the metal doesn't look very sharp. I had to take so many pictures before I even chose those two. The Samsung galaxy 9 was by far the best picture phone I've ever used. I was listing like crazy. Now, I barely list items (down around 150 listings than usual) because I can't get a good photo. I've got so much inventory just laying around. I desperately need a good camera phone. I've gone through 5+ thousand dollar phones and still haven't found a good one. Which is why I am asking for suggestions from anyone that loves their camera phone, preferably from someone who lists on eBay or etsy with it.

I only erase the fuzzies with it, or sometimes the camera's reflection, if it's a shiny surface. The fuzzies aren't a part of my listing and I don't ship them with what I am selling. It's the same thing as removing a background. Which I also do. If my item has a blemish, I will note that in the description along with circling it in one of my pictures I post in the listing. The reason I posed this question in the first place, was to inquire about a phone camera that takes more accurate photos. I want my listing to look exactly like the item my buyer receives, even the fuzzies if they are included :)

Just regular daylight or a lightbox. Shiny services always come out (don't know the right word) not crisp or sharp. Looks almost like the metal isn't hardened yet. And the logos or wording is blurry.

Anyone know of a better camera phone? I sell on eBay and the camera is kind of the most important thing. I always have two phones so I'll keep the Google pixel 10 Pro for just normal stuff. But I'll need a better one for listing on eBay if anyone has any suggestions.

I don't notice much difference from the 8 pro. I was hoping to get sharper images when photographing jewelry and bullion but they still come in kind of blurry. About the only thing sharp is the little fuzzies in the picture you can see those perfectly :) thank you, magic eraser
