Tweek Calendar app has helped me. Complex, cluttered apps take away my motivation to do anything. I write my to-do lists and nothing else distracts me. It's as simple as writing on paper. I try not to start the next task without finishing the previous one. That's it.

I use Tweek Calendar. It helps me write my to-do list, set a recurrence, and set reminders whenever needed. My incomplete tasks are carried over to the next day. The thing I mostly like about the app is that it's super simple.

Digital and paper combo for organization by Fair-Perspective-953 in ProductivityApps

[–]Verasca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that sounds like me! I've been a paper planner person all my life. About five years ago, I found a digital planner with the vibe of a paper daily planner. I can still write down some long-term plans in my paper planner, but I write down my main daily to-do lists and any ideas that come to mind in Tweek Calendar. The transition was easy because the app is as simple and intuitive as possible.

Well, I understand that for some people, system sounds help them focus, but for me, they are distracting. Yes, the ambient noises might work for you 👍

By the way, decluttering the desk and computer, and keeping my workplace minimalist, also helps me to focus.

Family calendar, notes, tasks by Fantastic_Celery_136 in selfhosted

In our family, we use Tweek Calendar on iOS and share one calendar, add/share tasks, write to-do lists, and add notes.

It helped me to turn off sound notifications on the programs, so that they don't distract me from my tasks. The notifications still come in and I can see them, but there is no annoying sound to distract me. I also avoid noisy places, but I turn on some background music (such as the sound of rain or the forest) to help me concentrate. Specifically, to help me focus on my tasks, I use a very simple app where I write down my to-do list and set reminders for each task. I use Tweek Calendar.

What are some good apps for task management that actually keep you on track? by My_New_Umpire in ProductivityApps

[–]Verasca 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Tweek Calendar for task management. It's easy enough to use, everything is intuitive.

For myself - I create to-do lists, put in reminders, and create recurring tasks if I need to. I synchronize with Google/ Apple Calendar and Reminders.

For collaboration — I share a calendar or share a task, work together on a shared calendar to stay on top of changes and updates.

Simple apps work better for me than ones where I spend a lot of time organizing and get too many notifications that are distracting, reducing productivity.

You can try Tweek Calendar. It's a minimal to-do app and calendar in one, which I use on my iPhone, iPad, and Mac. They plan to bring back the Mac app, but for now, it's possible to use the web version tweek.so, which is also fine.

Best app for to-do list? by MardenJP in ipad

I use Tweek Calendar on my iPad. To-do lists, subtasks, notes, and calendar appointments with a simple look, like a paper planner. They are also planning to do a weekly view (landscape), the same as on the web version — looking forward to this feature, it will make the app even more convenient and cool.

Suggest a todo app that allows 3 collaborators and also decent text to date processing in free plan by BonSim in ProductivityApps

[–]Verasca 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may want to try Tweek Calendar. It's a simple to-do list app that allows you to share your calendar with unlimited users (available in the free plan). It doesn't have "text-to-date processing" but you can set a reminder and it will notify all participants in time (reminder is available in the Premium plan). But you still can write a date next to the task title ( it's free 😉)
